Is it okay to wear your rings when you wash your hands?

I take it off when I shower, sleep, workout, etc. I have a ring holder to keep it on my nightstand. I usually don't take it off just to wash my hands because I know it would end up down the sink somehow. If I use hand sanitzer I take it off & put it on my work desk or put it in my pocket if there is no where to set it down.

Depends for me. Sometimes I take it off when I shower and wash my hands, and sometimes I don't. I worry I will lose it even with having ring holders all over the house. I know a lot of girls say showering or washing with it on is a no no, but my mom has kept hers on for 35 years of marriage and her diamond is still as brilliant as when my dad first gave it to her.

I leave mine on pretty much all the time. I have been taking it off to do my hair, but put product on my hands then rub it through my hair. I'm trying to just leave it on to do my hair, but I just always feel a little sticky around the ring after.

I wasn't sure what to do when I went in the pool and to the ocean, but i just left it on and was happy I did. Not sure if you are supposed to, but I love wearing it.

I don't take my ring off to shower or wash my hand but it also dulls my ring quicker which means it has to be polished more often. That means going without my ring for an entire week. You might have to weigh the pros and cons. Either constantly take it off or send it out to be polished more often.

I leave my ring on when I'm washing my hands, but I remove it when washing dishes or showering. I don't remove my ring in public anymore.

In a prior engagement, I once took my ring off to wash my hands in a public restroom and left it sitting on the sink. I freaked out when I realized what I did a few minutes later. I ran back and luckily it was still there.
