Is it bad if I don't propose to my bridesmaids?

I asked my sister to be my MOH over the phone the night I got engaged. I have two friends that I'm planning to ask to be my bridesmaids, and I'm feeling a lot of pressure to do a cute proposal for them. But I didn't do that for my sister, so that's weird. I proposed to my Bridesmaids and they loved it!!! I think it's an awesome idea because they'll feel honored you chose to ask them in a different kind of way... I had Bridesmaids Boxes made by my cousin because she's amazing!!!

She makes cups so I had her put their names on them and their title for my Wedding this my Maid Of Honor Box

That whole bridesmaid proposal is a load of cr@p in my opinion. I don't understand it nor do I think it's cute or nice.

I asked my MOH over the phone to be my MOH. One BM I asked over dinner when I was visiting with her and her boyfriend. And my last BM I met for coffee and we talked and when it came to talking about my wedding I asked her if she's like to be a BM. That was is. Done. They said yes, we had a happy moment, the end.

    That's all you need.

I asked mine all over the phone, when I called to tell them we were officially engaged. They all live far away, so this was the easiest solution. They would have thought it was strange if I did a big proposal, since that just isn't me.

Wait... bridesmaids proposals are a thing?!?!!? Jeez what is this world coming to! I just asked mine in person, or called them. One of them I even texted haha because honestly that's the best way to get a hold of her. Everybody was excited to accept, they didn't care how I asked.

I called and/or texted each individually. That all accepted. No big deal!

I just asked them all in person, very casual. No gift. They'll get nice gifts at the rehearsal dinner though. Smiley laugh

Proposing is overrated IMO and a waste of money. Just ask them.

I didn't propose to any of mine. I asked my MOH over the phone, one of my bridesmaids at dinner and the other in a Christmas card. It's all about preference and how you would like to do it.

I plan to, but I do not think they're necessary. Just a fun, cute way to ask a simple question. Not bad at all if you don't! To be honest, this whole thread has me rethinking it lol.

It's completely unnecessary. Not every inch of life needs to be Pinterest-worthy. Today, there's an excruciating amount of focus on wedding details at the expense of just enjoying the experience of getting married.
