Invitations- how much did you pay?

Stephanie, on September 28, 2016 at 1:12 AM Posted in Planning 0 20

I just purchased my invitations! I'm curious to know what each of you paid. I'm on mobile so I wasn't able to search on the topic. I went with vista print and got a coupon and ended up spending $312 for 150 invites, rsvps, thank you cards, envelopes and 150 return labels. Here's what they look like simple and easy. I'd love to see yours as well!

How many people are you inviting? remember you don't need an invite for every person, just every household.. Mine cost about half that with a discount on vistaprint but I ordered much less than you

    I paid $18 for mine using gotprint.com

I highly recommend this company. High quality, extremely low prices, and they'll send you a free sample packet before you order your invites.

    @Ritah H.

Do you have invites designed first at a place like Etsy and then Vista print only prints them? Clearly I'm clueless! lol

Also, can you recommend the person you used on Etsy?

    :+)

Mine were kind of pricey because we wanted something very specific and were having a hard time finding it on places like Vistaprint. We paid $309 for 30 which included Save the Dates, invitations, RSVP cards, details cards, and envelopes pre-printed with guest addresses and our return address. I got them through Etsy. Oh and I also used an inner envelope.

I really wanted them on beveled paper, and VP just does smooth cardstock, so that wasn't an option. Otherwise I would totally have gone with them!

    100 STDs at Staples, $40

80 invitation suites from TheAmericanWedding on Etsy, $200 (incl shipping). We got the invitation, RSVP card and preprinted envelope, 1 enclosure card, and inner and outer envelopes for that price.

We're thinking right around $1200 for invitation, inner and outer envelope, response card with envelope, additional information card. Mailing will add around $140

    We need 120 invitations.

ETA: I'm using a groupon, so actual cost is only 50%.

-75 invitations with scalloped edge with envelopes

    -75 rspv cards with envelopes

-10 custom thank you cards with envelopes for engagement gifts

I bought a $200 gift card for $100 on Groupon and used a 50% off coupon. Before applying the discounts is was about $650 before tax in the cart.

I used minted...$690.17...but I got them for FREE. Minted screwed up so many times and took a month to get my order right, they comped my order. However, not without a fight.

I got mine at Cards & Pockets. $1.88 per invite kit which includes cardstock for invites, RSVP, and two inserts, an inner, outer, and RSVP envelope, invitation mat and pocket. You have to print at home or pay extra for printing but the kit comes with so much, our invites looked awesome!
