Inexpensive Intimate Wedding venues

LNIson, on January 1, 2017 at 2:55 PM Posted in Planning 0 30

I'm starting to plan an intimate wedding (about 25 ppl), and am looking for a venue that's the right size, and affordable. My complete budget is under $10K. I'd like to have an outdoor ceremony and reception--either rustic or garden--just beautiful nature scenery but not the beach. Willing to travel outside of the immediate Tampa/St. Pete Area. I can't seem to find anything that is intimate enough or reasonable for my budget. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Use google or the vendor tab on WW.

Have you looked at restaurants in your area that have patios/outside seating?

Also check out the US Forest service or state, county & city owned places.

This is about the size of my wedding--guests and budget. It was a struggle to find something that was intimate enough, but I will say that I had more success looking at restaurants rather than "wedding venues" like the ones on the vendor tab. Good luck!

Restaurants are good, especially since you can deal with just one vendor for venue, food, alcohol, etc.--a good thing for helping to figure out your budget in advance. It is not that hard to keep your total budget under $10K with just 25 guests.

Call restaurants. I have a list of about 50 in NJ that will do groups from 10-50 (I had a wedding on Wednesday for 32 and one the next day for 10). It really takes legwork.

What about a museum? There's some in my town at least that have small beautiful areas, gardens, or rooftops that are lovely for intimate weddings!

Yeah I found a great venue in NJ that is going to do 80 people for a brunch wedding reception under 5K... You just need to look and ask for what you want.. don't be afraid to ask for other than their normal packages. The worst that can happen is they say no..

Use the vendors tab or google to research. This site has people all over the world on it. You could also look and see if there is a brides fb page for your area. I'm a part of about 4 for my area and people ask questions like that all the time

Disney World! Lol. You can do a mini-Wishes package and if you use an outside photographer (I recommend Randy Chapman!), you could definitely come in right around $10k for a brunch or lunchtime wedding! They also have a ton of beautiful nature venues, including options in the Epcot World Showcase.

SRQ local here. Check out our area! Selby Gardens, Ringling Museum, Anna Maria Island, Ca D'Zan, and I think you would really like Mixon Fruit Farm.

I second JuJuBee's suggestions and would add Crosley mansion and Philippi estate and South Gate Center.

If there are any botanical gardens around they might do weddings.
