In What Month Are You Getting Married?

We got married the first week in October. Spring and summer are chilly and foggy where we live and September and October are the warmest and sunniest months. So I specifically only looked at available dates in those months.

We are getting married in April. We chose our date because I’ve always wanted a spring wedding and it will be the day before our 3 year dating anniversary.

October because I hate being hot! Fiance kept saying October on the ocean will be cold and I said I sure hope so! 😆

We chose December and I love it because it's such a festive month to us!

We chose September because autumn is our favorite time of the year, and since we’re getting married in the mountains we’re hoping for some good fall foliage colors!

We originally wanted the end of September. It can be really hot here in the summer (it was pushing 100° this past weekend) but the venue we loved and wanted only had July and 1 date left in mid August so we decided on the August date. Fingers crossed we don't have another heat wave.

August. It's right before school starts and it's easier to have the wedding as an end of summer bash:-)

August! (11 days away) because August 22nd is our 3 year dating anniversary. Also I wanted something in the summer.

October - 2nd weekend is considered peak fall foliage in my area. Also, generally good weather.

We did the second week of October. We both love autumn. Since we are doing a wedding in Charleston, SC, we didn’t want to be in the heat.

We're getting married August 17th. August was important for us because we both were born in August.

We’re getting married in October. We wanted to get married on the 19th, on a Saturday, in 2019, and the only options were January and October. We got engaged this past December, so October was the winner! The date will also will help us avoid both intense heat and snow, so yay!
