Why did you choose May?

We're getting married in February. My fiance is Indian so we had to pick an auspicious day. Most Indian weddings happen in winter because it has the most good dates. We were choosing between Jan and Feb dates but my dream venue only had one weekend that was auspicious available and that's how we settled on Feb 1 (Indian wedding is on Jan 31, western on Feb 1) so I guess we're getting married in both Jan and Feb. 😁

Tell me about the venue in the picture.

We are getting married in late September. We chose this because fall is both of our favorite seasons. We knew we wanted a fall wedding but where we live weather can be unpredictable starting in October with snow so we wanted a wedding date in fall but not too late where snow could be a factor.

May 2 2020 is our big day! We got engaged on New Years Eve in Cabo! When we returned from vacation I started looking for wedding venues and EVERYTHING WAS BOOKED for the 2019 year! I really wanted an October wedding.

How did you and your fiance decide on the month of May?

We chose February 29, 2020 because we love that it’s the leap year!! We’ve been told that it’s good luck! Plus we live in Texas so colder weather is better for us!

January 4th. That’s the day we got together on and I’m bad at remembering dates so we are sticking with the same anniversary
