I was flagged!!

Mrs L, on September 6, 2012 at 6:38 PM Posted in Planning 0 27

I was flagged on another post.....So I guess it's against community guidelines to invite people to become friends on fb? When did this happen? Go figure!

Lmbo..that is so funny. Wow I guess they do not want people to leave the site?? I mean I use both FB and the WW...I only came to the WW after a nasty spat with a fellow bride on Theknot. Good luck.

@New Mrs L - Good morning! Did you reach out to myself or Support directly to ask about this?

I took a look in your account and nothing has been flagged down recently.

Is this the thread you are referring to?: https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/wr-lets-connect-my-page-soley-devoted-to-brides/ef3b35f0a23ff70f.html

Please remember that you can always look under your 'Watchlist' tab and then 'My Discussions' to find discussions that may have dropped down several pages.

It's definitely easy to lose threads with all the action going on! Next time definitely remember that you can reach out and I'd be happy to help.

Actually, now that I've reviewed the page - it's not 'inviting people to be friends,' it advertises 'handmade orders for brides.' (Now I'll be removing that thread)

Please remember that advertising/soliciting business is not permitted in the community. This is not the place for it! Smiley smile

It was a thread from another member on "Advice to Beach Brides. I didn't realize you could sensor my fb page. I was not aware that I put anything else up other than the link to my page. I figured we all have the choice to befriend anyone we want on fb, my bad!

@New Mrs L - Of course you can! It's done all the time Smiley smile

If the page I linked above isn't the thread you are talking about, please send over the link in a PM.

The page that was removed today linked to a Facebook page soliciting business.

Happy to clear up any questions if we're not talking about the same thread!

I'll be honest when I first seen the thread it was as if you were trying to bring all the people from WW to your fb page. I did see that it said December Brides so after that I didn't bother looking.

I see it as this... "People your gonna get flagged.. WHO CARES!!!." Move on & Carry on! You can't honestly think that making a FB page for the same thing as WW is going to be okay? Specialy advertising it on here... LOL

Wow FML, advertising what exactly? If its not a business or selling something would it be called advertising?

Not to be mean or anything, but you did have a page/post where you were talking about making/selling things for brides. I know to me it seemed a little like advertising, but since you're on the boards often, I left well enough alone.

As opposed to the December brides group, where we just talk about timeline specific things, such as when we are all sending out invites, and share pictures the same as we would here on WW, but without abandoning WW.

But I agree with Gee, if it was just a group page or something, no problem. But if it was the other one where it looked like you were making/selling wedding items, that one I can see being a problem.
