I tried on wedding dresses today, and....

....MY FRIGGIN' ARMPITS ARE FAT. Yes, ladies, I have armpit muffin top. Not attractive AT ALL. For some reason, the dresses actually made me look larger... I'm 122 lbs/5'2", and I looked like a little oompa loompa. Sad day. Does anyone know what kind of exercises are good for getting rid of armpit...

Does anyone know what kind of exercises are good for getting rid of armpit fat? If I don't find something to do about it, I may just change the whole wedding for it to be a winter wedding that way I can wear a friggin' jacket. LOL.

I'll post pics of the dresses once I find out how to do it... Smiley smile

And dress #3. Excuse my expressions... my mom was handling the camera and wasn't telling me when she was taking pics. The flash wasn't on... the girls in the back asked us to turn it off. Rude. LOL

Ohhhh, I LOVE that last one! the first is pretty too! but i'm still holding onto c-section bulges, so stuff that pulls attention to the front like the beading on the 2nd one! and after scrutinizing the pics, i do believe #2 and #3 don't have as much "pan" room for the "muffins" lmao! ya know, every single dress i've seen, unless you're rail thin, has that thing right there! ugh, i hate it!!

Ok seriously, you look not bad at all! Don't be so hard on yourself! The third dress is very flattering. And the first one is very pretty too. You could just get a sheer shawl and it will hide quite a bit- it worked for me! And then there is your veil as you're walking down the aisle. You would be surprised how much it hides! I don't think you have to worry about this....

I like 1 and 3 but I think 3 is more flattering. I think they just had you in a too-small bra. But just in case...jumping jacks, pushups lol.

I really like number 3. Very pretty. I think it was the bra. I wouldn't worry too much.

Ooo i love number 1. i don't think you have armpit fat, its just the cut of the dress. but once you get it fitted and have the right bra, they will go away.

I think it's the cut of the dress. There are some dresses that just push skin and fat up and make even the smallest of people have the muffin tops. I think if you use a good seamstress for the fittings and the proper undergarment you'll be golden!

Sorry but I don't think there is anything you can do about it... I'm 5 ft and weigh 95 pounds and in a strapless dress I have those too. Strapless dresses are just pulled so tight that they create that by cutting under your armpits... Almost every strapless dress will do that. I just tried on my dress yesterday and it does it. Don't be too hard on yourself... If you are self concious about it maybe try a halter?

Thanks y'all Smiley smile I think #1 is my personal favorite, with #3 at a close second. #2 is my mom's fave (I tried it on cuz she picked it). I'll have to try them on again in a couple of months after I look at other places and see which one I decide on. Exciting!

Looks like they are all just a bit small in the bust. You could also try one with a straighter neckline rather than the sweetheart shape. If they have corset backs try making it looser at the top and tighter at the waist when you lace it up.

This is a very common problem and really you think it looks worse than it does.

    Love dress 3.

If they are not corset back ask your seamstress if she can let it out just a bit at the top of the side seams.

You're 122 and 5'2", you are not fat!!!!! Plus, I think armpit fat is cute. I seriously do! I think everyone has fat right there sort of between their armpit and boob. I would do chest excersizes to try and tone it up as much as you can. But don't worry about it! :o)

    # 1 is definately my favorite as well. In order to feel better about purchasing one of the three dresses, you should pick the undergarment that you will be wearing on your wedding day. Go back to the bridal salon and try on the gown with the bra that bra. Hopefully, with the correct bra, the "muffins" will go away. If not, try loosening the back (if it is lace up). If it is not try on a different neckline you might just like it better than the current contendors!

My dh likes #3. he says it's more modern. i kind of agree that modern is less bling and more shapes, ruffles, tiers...but actually, i actually like more bling. so #1 is very nice. the undergarment is most probably too small and is pushing everything up...when you put on the undergarment, just hold it up against you and start from the mid back or top....don't need to push up the girls too high or raise your shoulders...well at least, you're not flat! It's the cut of the dress....even the skinniest girl will look like she has "muffin top" armpits if the dress is cut wrong for her body. Since you are petite you probably have a shorter torso, making the cut of the dress ride up too high, pushing stuff up that doesn't belong there. So you are NOT fat, you just haven't found your dress yet! Try DIFFERENT styles and cuts, keep an open mind. You will find what is the most flattery on your body. The biggest mistake a girl can make is to get a dress she likes in a picture instead of the one that is right on HER body

Y'all are so nice! Smiley smile

So *SOMEHOW* FH saw the dresses! I think he broke into my email account... GRRR.

He says he loves #2... and I quote "If you show up in anything other than #2, I will say 'I don't' when the officiant asks if I do!" LOL I felt "more of a bride" in #1... so that's my fave so far.

Next time I go I will just wear my regular strapless bra without the uber padding the one I tried on had Smiley smile

    I'm really excited!!!
