Forget it!! I would be so pissed!! If I was going thru that trouble I think I would move the shower to a restaruant and leave my BM in the dark!! But I am mean, so FH says LOL

This is why I don't want a shower. I want everything as low-key as possible. No stress on anyone.

I think they may be just trying to surprise you. My bridesmaids had a private group where they planned everything. I was out of the loop. Think positively.

FMIL is throwing my shower since we're not bothering with having a wedding party so I'll remind myself of these posts about unreliable BMs and showers when I start to feel impatient with FMIL's hyper-planning (my shower's not until Sept, but she's got most of it planned out).

I've got one on the 9th and 24th of this month. Mom loves cooking and is planning one, the other my MIL and 2FSiLs are planning at a restaurant.

Was feeling bad about NOT having any bridesmaids ans sticking to an intimate wedding. Now im feeling a little better. I just remember all the weddings I was in and all the complaining all the bridesmaids made and even some friendships lost. Im kinda glad its just me and my 7yr old and 2yr old neices/flowergirls. No complaintsor let downs from them! Lol

Besides my bm hitting on mt fiance it was okay. Thank God my cousins showed up be because otherwise only 5 people wouldve been here. Stupid MOH didnt send out invites and didnt invite no one.
