i need help finding a good place for Alterations

Hi Ladies, so I ordered my dress got it in the mail after waiting forever to get it & it won’t go over my hips or completely zip up. I’m devastated & I ordered the size I always try on in the store which is still a size bigger than what I wear but this dress really runs small. I don’t have a lot of time I get married in 18 days & I just need to find a good place that won’t mess up my dress. The bridal place won’t have it done in time so I need to find another place.

Look on Yelp in your area for alterations and seamstresses. Many dry cleaners offer tailoring servings.

What area are you located in? That will help narrow down suggestions! Another thing you could do is ask your bridal shop for recommendations of other seamstress in the area, they should be able to point you in the right direction!

I live in the Raleigh, NC area & I will call the bridal store to see if they can recommend anyone. Thanks I need the all the help I can get

Hi Lynette! Do you have a place you normally go to for alterations or dry cleaning? I'd ask if they can do your wedding dress alterations since you can already trust their service!
