My dress ended up requiring a lot of work to fit my body, but due to Joann's clever problem solving and immense skill, my dress looked phenomenal on my wedding day. Most tailors would say that it was too big of a job to undertake, but Joann tackled it with grace, determination, and kindness. I looked and felt beautiful, strong, and confident on my wedding day. She is quickly becoming the most in demand wedding tailor in the area - so make sure you get on her books soon!!

Joann was described to me as the fairy godmother of alternations by the bridal shop that I purchased my wedding dress. Needless to say, I promptly connected with Joann to schedule an appointment for my alterations.

Joann was truly a pleasure to work with. One of the things that sticks out to me about working with Joann is her sincere desire to ensure that my wedding dress was perfect. I was extremely pleased with the results at my final fitting. The hem was difficult but she nailed it! My photographer even mentioned how well my bustle was done.

Joann was very patient and has decades of experience to alter your dress. I highly suggest her for alterations. She gives great guidance (i wanted to cut off my train, she did a french bustle, which I am so glad I listened to her).

She is skillful and careful with her craft and she will not let you walk away until both you and her feel the dress is perfect.

I will forever be extremely grateful for Ms. Joann because she made my wedding dress one of the most perfect and special parts of my entire wedding! Joann was able to take my mother's retro wedding dress from 1990, complete with enormous sleeves, tassels, and bows, and made it into a beautiful, modern silhouette! She is so talented and knowledgeable about wedding gowns and I truly don't think I could've taken my dress to anyone else and made it look as good as it did! She took the dress apart completely and was able to design a whole new dress from the fabric! We kept the original skirt and train, but dropped the waistline using the extra fabric from the original huge sleeves, for a more A-line silhouette. She completely redesigned the back of the dress using only the original lace and mesh. She was able to troubleshoot issues with the skirt laying correctly and made an easy-to-figure-out bustle that was perfect for the design! I looked forward to every alterations appointment I had with sweet Joann and I'm so grateful for her amazing work on my gown.

I was slightly high-maintenance in that my dress needed lots of alterations AND I had purchased yards of tulle to have a skirt custom-made to wear over my dress for the ceremony and take off for the reception. JoAnn was a magician - the dress and the skirt were more than I could ever have dreamed of! She is so kind, makes you feel so at home, and really understands how to make your dress perfect for you!

I put Ms.Joann through the ringer with my wedding dress. Unfortunately my dress arrived almost 3 weeks late and Ms. Joann only had 2 weeks to make my dress perfect! She was supposed to be taking things easy and relaxing a little but she agreed to continue working with me and I am so grateful because I’m not sure anyone else could have completed the intricate work in time! She didn’t cut any corners or make me feel bad about the delayed dress instead she made me feel confident and listened to what made me feel beautiful. Multiple times during my visits she would pause to ask “how do you feel” and she genuinely cared about my answer. I was so appreciative to be heard when I told her what was feeling right and what wasn’t. Without Joann’s beautiful work I couldn’t have felt as stunning as I did on my wedding day.

Joann was not only an amazing tailor but also so fun to work with! She did an amazing job fitting my dress and it was perfect on my wedding day!

Ms. JoAnn worked miracles on my Hayley Paige ballgown that needed some TLC before my wedding. She is a total pro and I highly recommend!
