I hear it's common, but did/does anyone else have dreams of ex'es before the wedding?

Ive had those. Not a sexual way either, more like he was there, i was there, our spouses were there...it was weird. Cant control our dreams. I think maybe a cause is hearing the persons name at some point in the day, not even referring to the ex. For example, one of mine was set off by my mom telling me she ran into my ex and his lady at the country bar she goes to lol

Yep it is pretty common. I dreamt about him few weeks after I got engaged but in my dream I was engaged to him. I dreamt that he was the one waiting for him by the altar lol. I woke up feeling weird too, but like you I love my FH with all my heart and I know he is the one.

I don't know if it is common or not. However, I wouldn't stress yourself or even give it a second thought.

I was taught dreams provided an outlet from the day's stresses. But then again, when I questioned the doctor, I was having more bizarre dreams. lolol

>something I haven't told anyone< Since the wedding planning is now in full force and the date is creaping closer and closer...I find myself thinking about my ex-husband. Not sure why, maybe it's because i have been through this process before and the only person who was in my life at that time was him. It's weird and I don't like it. Hopefully this will go away after the wedding and once i have new wonderful memories from my wedding with fh.

@Nicole I think that is commom too, sometimes I find myself thinking about my ex. I have absolutely no feelings for him either but in my case I think is because I never had closure I just caught him with another girl and never talk to him again. He tried contacting me during the holidays but I never answered him. All you have to do is focus in your FH and make sure you have absolutely no feelings for your ex.

Nicole, I also think of the wedding planning I did with my first husband. It makes me feel so darn guilty too, but let's face it, it's natural to think of the other wedding you planned.

I find my self thinking/dreaming about my ex. I know that my FH is the one and I love him dearly. Not sure why it happens, but I am sure its normal. The other night I even had a dream about the Best Man... Gross!!

Thanks Ladies. Yeah the dream had me a bit freaked out this morning, I just wasn't myself.

I've had a very similar dream. The weird thing was my ex looked like my FH but had the personality of my ex, and I was PISSED that I was with him and wanted to be with my FH. It was freaky and even when I woke up I had to take a double take at my FH to realize I am with him and not my ex. So weird! I'm glad I'm not the only one that has funky dreams like that. I also have no feelings towards any of my ex's so I was freaking wondering why the heck I'd dream that. (I've had multiple dreams like that... before I was engaged and once or twice after being engaged) Dang minds.

Yeah I think about my ex too sometimes,we had divorced but were still kinda dating and next thing I know he had uped and got married ( to my surprise), but like all of you I know my Papi is the one. I smile just thinking about him...(like now ) thats my baby...I wish that other fool would go away!!! (out of my thoughts!)

I didn't, but my FH woke up one morning and told me he had a dream about my ex! (Just that he was present, nothing funny. And we both knew this guy once upon a time.) That was very Twilight Zone-y to me!!
