How to announce a private wedding?

So the decisions has been made & were not going to wait till next year to get married...

Next month, 2 years from when we reconnected will be our big day.

Our 110 guests are starting to receive the Save the Dates. Were still sticking with the original 6/24/2012 for a bigger/smaller 50 of our closest family & friends wedding. I need help with an announcement that we got married for those not coming to the 6/24/2012 wedding.

I'm a bit confused by this.. Are you having two weddings? And what exactly do you mean when you say "bigger/smaller 50 of our closer family & friends"?

I think you're looking for some wording for the announcement??

If so, maybe try something like this ...

With great joy we announce that
we were married on
Month, date, year
in City, State

Our painfully small [guest list/budget/venue/whatever]
meant there were many loved ones
we were not able to invite.

We deeply missed having you there,
but you were in our hearts.

We love you.
We miss you.
We hope to see you soon!

Love,
Your Names

OR

Because you are good friends
we thought you'd like to know
that we ran off and got married
We did it on the go!
Bride
and
Groom
tied the knot
on date
at the _____
City, State
************************************
To love and be loved is to feel
the sun from both sides

Yes were doing 2 weddings. FH & I, next month... Then another in June for our friends & family.

You do the wedding, then send out announcements, stating that the celebration will be held in June- blah, blah, blah.

My question though is that you said 110 guests but then 50 guests in june. Does this mean that you are "uninviting" people?

Yeah, I also took it as you were uninviting people as well. Are you having an actual ceremony for the smaller wedding or just you & FH doing it & then having a wedding next year? If that's the case, you can casually tell your close friends & family & still totally have the wedding next year be your big day with everyone else.
