How to address wedding party / guests about postponing our wedding

Meghan, on April 1, 2020 at 4:40 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3
Hey everybody,

I was wondering if anybody was willing to share how they addressed their guests and or wedding party about postponing their wedding due to the Coronavirus epidemic? I have several examples typed up, but I don't feel like they're good enough at addressing the situation. Thank you for all your love and support! I hope you all are staying safe and healthy during these times 💗

Hi Meghan, we know a lot of members are going through the same thing, so we put together a guide on How to Word Your Wedding Postponement Announcement. It has sample phrasing that can help you communicate the change to your guests. Do you have a wedding website where you can include some details while your plans change?

As for your wedding party, I would call them. I actually just talked to another member about this, you two might want to share ideas together - How to tell Wedding Party we are eloping early but still planning our big wedding?

We've got your back, Meghan! Smiley heart
