How strict are you with your bridesmaids attire/accessories?

I just told them dark purple dresses and let them do whatever they want. As long as they're standing there with my that day, I don't care what make up and jewelry they're wearing.

They chose the dress--everybody is wearing the same style and color. The only other thing I asked for was silver shoes--flats, heels, whatever they wanted. I'm paying for makeup for everybody and giving them all earrings and a bracelet to wear. There will be a hairstylist available if they want their hair done but they would pay for that themselves. They asked about nails and I said whatever they want to do is fine with me. The jewelry is not their gift because I want them all to wear it for the wedding. I'm still working on thank you gifts! I'm really trying hard not to be a bridezilla or be too demanding.

I had 3 bridesmaids in 3 different states so I picked a color from David's Bridal (because they are everywhere!) and picked the length. Everything else was up to them. Everything turned out beautiful.

IDGAF lol. One less thing for me to worry about. They're adults (minus the 15 year old that will do whatever MOH suggests lol), they have great fashion sense, and they are the ones that want to be matchy. I'm hands off.

I was only the slightest bit picky about the dress. It had to be a certain shade of purple and long. She was able to choose whatever style she wanted. I trust her to match she's and jewelry appropriately, I didn't even really mention it.

My BMs and I are going to pick out dresses together but everyone will just be following a length, color, and fabric... Besides that I want them to be comfortable! Same colored shoes but nothing crazy. Hair and makeup is up to what they want! I think it's fine to let them be themselves... That's why you love them right?!

The only thing I was specific on was that I would prefer if they wore their hair up. Nail color, don't care. Shoes, as long as their comfortable. I'm purchasing their jewelry. It's funny, though, I'll tell my BMs that I don't care and they all have the same response, "Well - it's your wedding...what would you like us to do?"

I'm only having a MOH so it's a little easier for me but we went dress shopping and I only gave her a color. I let her pick whatever dress she felt fit her the best and I'm letting her pick her hairstyle and makeup too. I want her to feel completely comfortable and beautiful.

I want all my bridesmaids to be happy and comfortable. I'm not letting them do whatever they want but I'm giving everyone different options. I found a day that works for everyone and we all went to pick out dresses. I told the silver shoes idc what kind. I told them idc what hair they have as long as it's a updo. Whenever I tell my bridesmaid i dont care what color something is or what shoes they wear they all say " why it's your wedding don't u want us all looking similar " so I feel like I should tell them what to wear lol

Holy crap nail length was dictated? That's cray!

I asked my girls to pick out whatever dark green floor length dress they wanted (which I paid for) and that was it! They have asked me about shoes, jewelry, hair, etc and I've told them whatever they are comfortable in and want to wear. Dictating nail length is crazy!

I'm just telling them dress color, and a site to buy it from and then they can buy whatever style they want.

I picked the dress which was originally going to be length and color of my choice, dress of theirs but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on their dresses. I told them a color for shoes and a basic idea for jewelry-either statement necklace or statement earrings. That's it. I want them to be comfortable and happy and feel like themself. Makeup and hair I don't really care as long as it doesn't look identical to mine. I have been in weddings where the dress, jewelry and shoes were picked with no options which kind of sucks cause it's stuff I still have in my closet that I'll never wear again. I'd rather they spend their money on something they can get use out of.

I only have one female on my side of the bridal party. I told her I wanted her to wear white but she chose the dress and she can pick whatever accs/hair style/make up/nails she wants. As for my man of honor I picked out his suit and he went crazy with a gold bedazzled bow tie and matching pocket square and glittered gold shoes. It's not what I would have picked but he LOVES it, so I don't really care.

Nope we went dress shopping. ..all of them picked the same dress even tho they didn't need to. ..all in the same color. I said silver shoes..definitely something they may wear again. Makeup and hair is up to them.

I am having someone come to do hair and makeup so if they choose to get it done great if not ok.

They could wear whatever accessories they wanted and do their hair and make up however they wanted (we paid for them to have both done but they chose how they wanted it done). The only thing I really wanted them to wear was red jewel bracelets we bought them to add some pop of color to the photos.

They all were asked to get the same dress and I got them the same earrings because they were super pretty and super cheap. Everything else, is all them. Whatever they want

I just want their hair down or half down, nails a light pink color, i'm providing the jewelry, and they all have same shoes. I'm not going to dictate their makeup so much. As long as it's done tastefully, I'm totally fine with it.

They chose their dress from 2 styles.

I bought their shoes because I wanted pewter.

They completely chose everything else. I had zero say, nor did I tell them a preference.

We are all going to pick out dresses. I am going to pick out 3 and they can pick any one of them as long as they are the same color. As for everything else, it's up to them. Honestly they could go barefoot of they wanted and it wouldn't bother me. The less stress and drama to deal with the better. I refuse to let anything stress me out with our wedding.
