My wedding is October 2021 and I have already booked a photographer, venue, catering, and DJ. I easily get worried and anxious about things so it feels better to already have these things in the making. Also, my partner and I now have more time to budget. =)

Someone to walk you down the aisle?

What time do you want to have your ceremony start?


Do you have a venue?
If so, what do they provide as far as decorations or Tables and Chairs?

As soon as you've selected your venue and date. I say this because you have to confirm with the venue your date is available first and then everything else will fall into place.

Once you have a venue and an exact date, you can start doing the rest. For me, the photographer was the next most important thing since catering and bar was included with my venue!

Start when you want! Many places book out a year in advance, if not further. We got engaged May of 2019, decided on October 2020, and started planning immediately. We had a venue booked by June, photographer and caterer by July. We actually had to change our date by a day bc everywhere was booked for the day we originally wanted. Worked in our favor for sure, since everyone seems to be getting married the day we thought of first lol. It doesn’t hurt to start now!

We booked our venue 3 days after we got engaged. 😂😂

My wedding is Aug 21, 2020. I got engaged Feb 14, 2019 while on a trip to the Philippines with my fiancé. I started planning as soon as we got back from the trip. The way I saw it, the more I got done right away, the less I had to worry about the months leading up to our wedding and the more I could enjoy our engagement ☺️
