How much is a marriage license in your state?

$55, I thought it was a typo, it used to be $20!

Shut the front door ladies! I seriously shocked at how much it costs just for a marriage license! In our county, it's $60 and here I thought that was WAY TOOO much to spend. Good lord that's a lot of money!

We're getting married in St. Thomas USVI & paid $100. The price was recently raised this summer to $200 though. Glad we did it early & saved $100.

Wisconsin $80 if you purchase between 5 and 30 days before the wedding date...if less than 5 days (if they approve it) it is more because it is a rush request.

In Maryland it depends on the county. The county where my mom lives is $75 but the county where FH and I are getting married is $50
