Our videographer is a friend of the family so she is doing ours as a free gift to us. But her prices are usually around 3K.

Ours was $1800. We found someone who was trying to break into the business. We hired him off of only seeing one of his videos. We were impressed with the one video and we took a leap of faith. I am glad we did because he did an amazing job. We are so happy with the trailer we got and can't wait to get the remaining videos in a few months.

Try this web-site www.wedit.com they will send 5 HD video cameras and you give one to 5 guests, then send them back to the company and they will edit it and put together a nice wedding video for you.

So I shouldn't be stunned at the $4000 quote I just received for videography I guess? Ouch...I watched Corinne's video and decided I had to have a video...now I'm not so sure!

Holy crow! So most of you paid more than the photography packages start at for a video? Yeah my friend is taping it. Looking at where everyone is having the wedding, that is obviously a huge factor.

$800 but that was a STEAL b/c it was a commercial videographer transitioning to weddings, his timing and skills were amazing and he was very professional, he just didn't have a full season under his belt yet. I think his prices are much higher now. When I was comparison shopping, Chicago area videographers whose style we liked ranged from $1500-$5000.

We were very, very, very thrilled with our video. Up there in the best money we spent, and I was very skeptical at first.

I would recommend our videographer and wedding videography in general to anybody, anywhere, any day of the week.

We are having a friend use our video camera and thats it for the video. We don't want an edited video. We want to see what the kids do thats funny and hopefully no one passing out. If they do you bet it is going right to funny videos.

Found a videographer to do it for a little over $800.00 after taxes. We got a discount (20%) because both our wedding and our reception are at the same place (thus, no travel costs and setting up equipment twice)

We got quotes from $1500 to 6000.... we still haven't decided exactly what we are going to do but meeting with one of the expensive people in a few weeks but he will be doing a way reduced package - we only wanted the edited highlights so its only going to be a 5 min video so it seems like so much to pay but we just don't think that a full length video is worth it (plus I am sure that a few camera happy relatives will be there with the camera rolling if we did want to see the whole thing

Mine was FREE for the whole day Smiley laugh

The DJ company I used are expanding their business to doing wedding venues and they asked if they could do my wedding to fine tune their skills. Seeing as I wasn't going to have a videographer at all, this was definitely a SCORE lol

$50... the cost of gas for her to get to and from our ceremony and reception sites, DVD-R's, and postage. We found our videographer on craigslist offering FREE wedding videography. She is a wedding photographer who is breaking into wedding videopgraphy. A videographer had been out of our budget until we found her! She asked for $40 since she lived over an hour away and we ended up giving her $50.
