I'm a wedding filmmaker based out of Boston, and I would just like to share an article to you all that'll hopefully help in your search for a videographer. It covers topics like coverage, raw footage, and same day edits. I hope someone finds it useful!

If you or friends have raw video from your wedding, there are some great services that will edit it into a pro-quality video. Activid (http://Activid.co) is an online platform where you can upload all your footage, and professional editors will edit that footage into a beautiful 3-4 minute video. They've made some really amazing videos, and it only costs $95. If you don't love it, they refund you the full amount.

It depends on what the couple wants, a lot of hours of coverage or just two hours and other end products also. Usually fluctuates from close to $1,000 to $3,500. For example my basic video service package is $1,200 and includes three hours of coverage and a couple more things. But the other day I did an inquiry who wanted 9 hours of coverage!! So it ended up being an expensive one(close to $4,000). Also super important is to look at the production quality, does it bring out emotions when you watch it??? or does it make you want to look at your instagram account intead. I mean not HD video or 4K video is more about the feeling the video brings to us when we watch the videographers work.
