If you're comfortable sharing, how much did you spend on your shoes for the big day? I found a pair that I am absolutely in love with, but they are way more expensive than I even considered spending on shoes. Do I splurge on the pair I love or compromise because they're just shows for just one day?...

I spent $200 on my cowboy boots.... my dress is long and they won't be seen... but I will also be in a wedding 2 weeks after mine, so they will get worn then.. they are fancier boots too from what I am used to so they won't be worn too much more but I still really like them
$30 for my ceremony shoes, $50 for my much more comfortable reception shoes and I wear those all the time. I’ll never wear my ceremony shoes again, they were hand bedazzled and just way too op OTT for another occasion.
I spent $150. But, I’m wearing cowgirl boots! And as a wonderful bonus, they give me just enough lift to not even need a hem on my wedding dress.
I have 2 pairs of wedding shoes, one that I'll wear for the ceremony and one for the reception. I bought both pairs on sale and spent about $132 in total.
I got shoes from the blue collection by betsy Johnson. On the site they were 80 or 85 but they never had the size i needed and i waited for weeks. I ended up finding them on Ebay for 25 and they looked brand new!!
I'm going barefoot... My dress is long, and I hate wearing shoes when I don't have to. We bought little $1 anklets for all the bridesmaids but I don't really feel spending a ton of money on shoes when you don't even have the money to anyway is worth it.
No they were not comfortable 😮I basically walked down the aisle with them did my photo shoot and then change shoes 👠 make sure where you get married they have a bridal suite So you can change it makes the day so much more Pleasurable,I even changed into a second dress right before I cut my cake that was more comfortable than my actual wedding dress
I spent $120 on cowboy boots, but I was prepared to spent around $300 for the right pair as long as I'd wear them again. I just happened to find the perfect pair on a great sale!
My dress is tea length so people will be able to see my shoes. I'm going to wear a pair of silver sparkly heels that I wore in my Brother's wedding ($60 at the time) then I'm going to wear a pair a pink canvas shoes I found at payless for $10. I'm the type of person that can't justify spending a lot on shoes that are only going to be worn once, if they are shoes for work that you'd wear 10-12hr a day, 6 days a week that different.
I haven’t purchased mine yet, but I plan to splurge on Christian Louboutins, Jimmy Choo, Valentino Geravani, or Manolo Blahniks ($300-$900 probably). I’m a shoe addict and wear heels to work every single day, so this is my opportunity to splurge for the wedding. However, I’ll make sure whatever I choose is a pair I will rewear.

Will you be wearing the shoes more than once? Because of the theme of our day and my dress I will most likely go with Keds canvas shoes.

Love your reception shoes. I might be going with that for the entire ceremony and reception. Because it will be going with the theme
