If you're comfortable sharing, how much did you spend on your shoes for the big day? I found a pair that I am absolutely in love with, but they are way more expensive than I even considered spending on shoes. Do I splurge on the pair I love or compromise because they're just shows for just one day? Which was more important to you? Help!
I only spent $30, I think. I just wanted something to give me a bit of height, while still allowing me to walk gracefully and be bridal looking. With a long dress, they won’t be seen much anyways. Maybe a pic or two while getting ready.
I spend $100 on my shoes. For me it was about comfort but of course looks. I bought A LOT of shoes and tested them at home after work, before work, during my period to see if I could handle them. Our feet tend to swell up and handle shoes differently. I returned all of them expect this one and I have no regrets mostly because I’ll use it again. For me comfort was the most important aspect so I would have gone higher on the price if need it. It looks is more important to you and you can pay for it then go for it. You’ll reuse the shoes after all.
I spent $800 on a pair of Christian Louboutins and I do regret it. They are uncomfortable and I couldn’t wear them all night. They did look nice in the pictures but no one else saw them! Because Wedding dresses are usually floor length
I spent $130 on my Badgley Mischkas on clearance. My dress is long and full so no one is, but I still wanted something special and they’ll be in detail shots. I was originally going to splurge on Louboutin’s, but I compromised since they won't really be seen.
I was looking at Badgley Mischkas, as well, but the ones that really caught my eye are $300 Bella Belle shoes. I know they won't be seen much, so I can't decide if I want to splurge just as a treat for my sake or be more practical about it. Thanks for sharing!
I originally spent $37 on mine because I couldn’t bring myself to spend $225 on the ones I really wanted. But then I found the ones I really wanted on sale for $90. So I returned the $37 pair and bought the $90 pair. The second pair is much more in line with what I wanted. Plus, the heel is much lower too, so I won’t kill my feet.
