How many pounds of gummy bears do you think i would need for 150 guests?

We are planning on doing Albanese gummy bears as part of our wedding favors! We went to the store and bought 5 bags of Albanese gummy bears that were 5 pounds each, so we have 25 pounds total. I'm hoping it will be enough for 150 guests. I plan on packing the wedding favors sometime this week or next. What do you guys think? We plan on putting them in these clear, cellophane favor bags with a personalized thank you sticker on them.

    It would really depend on how many fit into a bag. I would fill one bag, weigh it, and then you can calculate from there how many pounds you need based on the weight of 1 bag x 150.

    I would think that would be plenty. This is a sixth of a pound per person. If each person got six of the bears, they would not need any more. Other people might take some of the leftovers "for their kids."

    I love gummy bears/candy!
    Just tonight I ate a whole bag (don’t know how big) like a bag from gas station.
    I’d say see how big that bag is and then multiply it but 150. But I also know people don’t love gummy candy as much as I do. Great favor choice 😊
