My mom and my sister. Not whole the wedding party - I mean we would have all went other times but I didn’t know I’d find my dress so fast lol

I felt fine! I took my mom/sister on one trip, my mom/friend on another. Most of the time I shopped by myself and ultimately found the dress on my own.

I took my mom and best friend on the first trip, and I plan on taking my 2 other bridesmaids (close friends) the next time I go. I think 2 is the perfect amount.

I took my mom, FMIL, and 3 BM’s. It was perfect. I think it depends on your crowd, and you know them best!

I went alone twice and kind of treasured that alone time with just me and a consultant. Personally, I didn't like the huge crowds because I feel like its overbearing and you easily get confused. Salons are also only so big - it's not like say yes to the dress. I would take the most important people and take other people to fittings

I just took my mom. We were actually just going to look at dress styles. I was planning to take my mom, sister (MOH), FMIL, and FSIL, but I found the perfect dress on the first go! You can always take people to your fittings so they can see the dress and feel included Smiley smile It was actually really nice to just have my mom there

    Hi Brittney,
Congratulations, I was advised my married girlfriends to just take one person, mother or MOH, because you get so many opinions, and things can get crazy quickly, try and take pictures of any dresses you think might be the one, try to envision what your dream 👗 dress looked like when you thought about your wedding day as a young girl, we all did it, picture that dress, I tried on 30 dresses before I found mine! Good luck and enjoy the process!

Every time I went dress shopping I had four other people or less. One of which was always my daughter who really was too young to give an opinion, others were my mom and two bridesmaids. I felt I had just the right people each time. When I found the one it was just my mom and daughter with me. 😊

I only went once and took my 4 sisters and my MOH but didn't have the 3 other bridesmaids come. If I didn't have that many sisters, I would have had an even smaller group go. Luckily none of them are too opinionated and they all liked what I liked and validated what I didn't. I agree that it's a know your crowd kind of thing and that fewer is usually better!

I brought my mom and my MOH and it was perfect. Too many opinions would’ve been overwhelming haha

I actually went by myself! I was shopping for a black dress, so I knew each appt at various bridal stores would be short and possibly traveling all over the place so I didn’t want to drag people here and there. I also get very caught up in others opinions, so I really wanted to focus on what I wanted. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My mom was a little bummed that I didn’t bring her, but when I explained bringing no one she understood.

There are definitely no hard and fast rules (unless the place you’re going has them). However, I’d recommend:
    1. Whoever is paying for the dress
    2. Someone with a similar sense of style to you3. Nobody who has a very different style AND will try to get you to wear what they want instead of what you want.
Basically, bring supportive people and don’t feel obligated to bring everyone in your wedding party. Have fun!

I went with two of my bridesmaids and my friend who is officiating the wedding. We had so much fun! I'm close to all three of them, and they all have very different senses of style – so I figured if they all liked something, it had to be good!

I went once with my mom, once with my sister and then once by myself. I personally found the whole “what do you think?” Thing super awkward and only really found something I wanted once I went by myself
