How many days to take off for the wedding?!

I'm taking off the full weeks before and after.

I'm taking off The Friday and Saturday before our wedding and then

A whole whopping nine days for our HoneyMoon

That's honestly more what i'm worried about lol. The decorating truly will not take us that long(in my eyes anyways) but everyone keeps telling me its not enough time to get it ready. My MOH, mom and a few bridesmaids/family will be helping do it all.

My wedding is on Saturday and right now I'm only taking the Thursday and Friday off. Hopefully I will be able to leave early on Wednesday.

I'm not taking anytime off before hand other then a half day to get my nails done - I'm a very organized person and preferred saving the days for the honeymoon.

I took off Wednesday-Friday before our wedding, but we also had to drive down to NC, apply for our marriage license, get all our wedding decor and attire down to NC and organized, and my family started arriving early!

In addition to the decorating time, I'd also think about how much time you have off from work! I could have taken the whole week off, but for DH that was pushing it in terms of PTO for both the wedding and honeymoon. The other thing to consider is that there is no way you are thinking about anything not-wedding-related the week leading up to your wedding

I'm taking off the entire week leading up to and a few days after because I know I won't be able to focus at work, we have mostly OOT guests so my thought is I'd tried to see them if they came in a few days before hand, and also catch up on any last minute things.

Our wedding is on a Saturday and I will be taking a half day on Wednesday and full days on Thursday and Friday.

I wasn't planning on taking any days off before or after. I'm a nanny and I may even have the baby at the rehearsal.

Im taking 2 days before the wedding and 2 weeks after because were going straight on our honeymoon and i cant wait! havent been on vaca since forever I have been saving these days

I'm taking the entire summer off!

(okay, so I work for a school district so I always have summers off. but I told my summer job I wouldn't be there until the end of June. We get out of school the end of May so I'll have just over a week to get everything ready.)

Leaving a wee early Thursday and flying up to CT first thing Friday morning. I will be taking off a Friday in June to go home and get s few things done, that's two weeks before The wedding. I'll be off until July 18.

I'm getting married on Sunday, and I'm only taking Friday off. I also have Monday and Tuesday off next week to decompress.

Hi date twin! I decided to take off Wed, Thurs and Fri before the wedding. Just to keep myself from being too stressed I wanted plenty of time to mentally prepare, and have that wiggle room in case last minute issues pop up. Then we are off the week following the wedding for our Honeymoon. Returning to work Monday the 25th

I took 3 weeks off for my DW. I had 1.5 weeks before the wedding to get last minute details done and to enjoy some touristy things with our OOT guests and then 1.5 weeks after to do more touristy things with our OOT guests, like a train ride out to Beijing to visit the Great Wall. DH and I became tour guides throughout our wedding trip. Something we may decide to pursue in the future.

I have the week before and the week after off

I'm taking that Friday before our wedding day. I only work Monday through Friday. I'll be gone for a total of 2 weeks & a day. Honeymoon the following week after the wedding. SO EXCITED!!!

We are taking two days prior to the wedding off so we can get all last minute items together, rest and relaxing, rehearsal dinner as well as visit with out of town family since they are coming from the other side of the country and 4 days after for our mini moon.

I'm taking a Thursday and Friday off before, and since it's a DW, I'll be taking the following Monday and Tuesday as well.

If you're worried about prepping, take Thursday off as well! Better to have an extra day to breathe and catch any possible problems.
