How many days to take off for the wedding?!

I'm taking off the entire week before, because my BFF/MOH will be in town and then the week plus Monday after for the honeymoon.

Friday should be fine for you if it's really that simple

Give it to the officiant or a groomsmen to place in his pockets.

I have 2 weeks! I took one day before we fly to get packed, clean the house and get the dog trimmed. Plus a week for our honeymoon and I got super lucky that when we get back i have memorial day holiday off anyways!

I'm probably going to work until Tuesday. My wedding is on a Saturday and then I have two and half weeks off after that wedding for the honeymoon to Hawaii.

I am taking off the full week before and the full week after the wedding. I have family from all over coming in, and I wanted to take sometime before the wedding to be with my nieces and nephew that I rarely get to see. I wanted to go do something fun with them that is non-wedding related so that they aren't just flying in for the wedding and leaving right away without me getting to spend much time with them. Then I am taking the week after off for the honeymoon

Im taking 3 weeks off

I'm getting married November 11, and I'm taking off November 8th through the 14th. Not a great deal of time, but we're going on our honeymoon cruise two weeks after our wedding, so it works out.

I had the week before off (at the insistence of my boss who thought I was crazy to ask for one day) and I don't know how I would have managed without that. The days leading up to it were crazy with last minute things. You don't know what's going to go wrong and you have to fix it last minute.

And just for examples...My officiant was non-responsive and had not sent the finalized script so I had to find another and the jeweler made a mistake with my ring so I had to go pick it up the night before the wedding! We set up the room the day before and it was lacking something so we ran around town buying string lights.

As of now, Thursday-Friday & Monday. Delayed Honeymoon.

I'm taking off June 1st through June 19th. This is the first time in a very long time FH and I will not be workaholics.

I think I'll take Thursday and Friday off for our Saturday wedding. I have two weeks off after our wedding.

Worst case scenario you'll have downtime before your wedding. That doesn't sound so bad to me!!

I was only planning to take a half day Fri for my Sat wedding so I can pick up my dress and be ready for my rehearsal. Seeing so many of you say you're taking days & weeks off is making me second guess now lol But I can't think of anything I really need to do during working hours in the last week. Hopefully it stays that way lol
