How many centerpieces per guest?

How long are the tables? What size centerpieces will you use?

Ditto Ashley's questions. I think it is more a spatial issue than a guest ratio issue, but this is all new to me as well.

If you are using 8 ft buffet tables I woud think 3 smaller centerpieces or 1 larger centerpiece per table or 1 large in center with a smaller one on each side. But I would definately use an odd number, that always looks best.

I'm not sure what size tables I'll be needing. I've been having trouble getting hold of the woman who runs the venue (which is a working historical orchard). I need to see what they've got before I go look at rentals.

I have vases of a variety of sizes and shapes. I'm arranging them in groups of one or three depending on size (@Savannah--odd numbers DO look better). I think the tallest vase is about 18" tall and the shortest is about 5".

Based on y'all's responses I think I need more vases...lol.

The coordinator at our venue said usually its 1 centerpiece per 8 people. We are using round tables. Depending on the amount of space between each person we may have 1 per every 6 people.

Hmmm....I DO want the guests to be able to see each other around and over centerpieces ;P Maybe I do have enough.
