How long is your reception ? What time will it end ?

Our ceremony is at 7pm and Reception 7:30-Midnight...it's on a Saturday. I think 5 hours is more than enough... If they want it till Midnight push the ceremony later like were doing.

Mine is 5hrs ... 6:30p-11:30p ... 5 hrs is perfect!

My ceremony is 6pm..reception is 7-1 am...

7pm - 12 midnight. But we were recently at a wedding where the reception ended at 10, and still everyone loved it!

4 and a half hours, from 7 to 11pm

We have to have the venue cleaned out by midnight...so I think we'll have our reception end around 11pm.

We did cocktails 7-8 and actual reception from 8pm-12am. So technically 5 hours with the cocktail hour ( bar was opened and music was playing). But if you don't count that only four Depends on what all special things you plan to do...dances and what not.

Sunday 6-10

Ours is set like your's as well because the DJ is only there for 6 hrs and will be playing at our ceremony too. (4:30- 10:30) We are worried 10:30 is cutting the evening too short as well. We have waited too long and put too much work into this day to not have it last awhile! We are considering paying the DJ to stay longer or moving everything to a club or bar for an afterhours party.

Ours is 5-10..I feel like anything more 5-6 hours guests will get bored..I guess maybe not depending on the crowd and the norm for the culture.

Our ceremony is5:15-6:00 then cocktail hr and reception ends 11:00

Our ceremony is at 4 and the reception ends at 10. Dinner is supposed to be around 5:30.

Our reception will be 6-midnight. It still feels like it wont be enough time! Maybe i should have an after party....

Ceremony at 5:30, cocktail 6-7, reception 7-12

Ceremony is at 3pm, and the reception is from 6-12 .. I know there is a gap there, but there is a lot of stuff to do in between

Ours is a short one. Three hours and ends at 4 pm

Ceremony @5pm "although i think my invite wiill say 4pm because i want everyone waiting on me"cocktail @6pm and reception from 7-11pm, but im really pushing for midnight as well lol..why not just party the whole night right???

Ceremony starts at 6:30, then reception is after that until midnight.
