How long before your wedding did you buy your dress?

My wedding is in October and I got mine in January. But I was told about 4-5 months for it to come in. I got mine so soon because it was the only time my Mom would be around to come and I was crazy about thinking it wouldn't come in time lol

Bought mine in May 2011. Will be getting married May 2012.

I purchased my dress 15 months before my wedding. I had my first fitting this past Friday and im still in love with my gown. I'm extremely happy that I purchased so ar out because a lot of the gown designes have changed.

So, I purchased it in Feb 2011 and it arrived July 2011

We got married in October Last year and I bought my dress October last year as well..like two week's before the wedding..

I purchased the dress in Febuary and the wedding is in June

I got engaged this past February, and my wedding is in May of 2013. My mom, MOH, and SIL are all very excited to go dress shopping. I keep telling them that I don't have the time right now and it is too soon. I will probably begin shopping in July, which is 10 months out.

My 1st dress I bought before he actually got down on one knee with ring, we new we were getting married and I found a good deal so I bought it, that was approx 13 months ago. My 2nd dress which I will wear for the ceremony, I purchased about 2 months ago, wedding in 6 months, I decided the first dress will be my TTD.

Engaged May 2011

Began dress hunt July 2011

Bought dress August 2011

Estimated time 4-12 weeks. I Got the dress 6 weeks later September or October.

Went in for first fitting in February

final fitting was end of March

Getting married on April 14th Yay!

So I bought my dress about 8 months before getting married. I still love it.

I bought my dress before he purposed! It was a good deal. my fittings are in the next couple of weeks.
