How emotional were you on your wedding day?

koolaid303, on September 13, 2016 at 5:26 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 27

Everytime I think of my wedding I start to tear up. Thinking about walking down the aisle makes me tear up.For our first dance we chose grow old with you by Adam Sandler it's a funny song and that makes me cry when I listen to it! I feel like I'm going to have ugly cry face in all my photos. Anybody else feel like this and brides who went through this how did your pictures come out hahaha but really how did you keep calm.

I cried when listening to songs trying to pick the right ones. But on the actual day, the only time I cried was right before walking down the aisle. Got a little shaky during my vows, but we mostly laughed through the ceremony. Our officiant was great about keeping us from going over the edge.

Omg. I'm so afraid about thinking about it so much, so I actually end up NOT feeling anything, because I would be scared I would have gone through it over and over in my heard

I got really emotional anytime I thought about the wedding. The day of I was a wreck. I also lost my very best friend 3 years before my wedding. I lost it about her not being there. But my dad helped calm me down and I was so happy when we started walking down the aisle, nothing else mattered. I teared up reading my vows but then I was great!

@julie so sorry about your friend.

I cry at everyyyy wedding. My best friend just got married Saturday and I know there are going to be some photos of me scrunching my face my in the background, but my own wedding? Naw.

I teared up a bit during the first look, and during the vows, but it's all just so surreal that you don't even register to cry.

I wasn't so bad going down the aisle and most of the ceremony. DH was a wreck! He was crying from the moment I saw him. Once the ceremony started and I'm right in front of him, I almost started crying, I definitely started tearing up, but it wasn't sobbing like my DH. Here's the end of the ceremony, and he's still all teary.

I'm the same way as you, crying during wedding related stuff now. I get emotional thinking about how it will be on our wedding day. When he proposed I didn't cry and when I bought my dress I didn't cry. Both occasions it was kind of a gut instinct, no second guesses yes. I'm hoping I get all the crying out during the planning for I'm not crying the entire time on our wedding day!

GIRL YES! I am going to be crying the whole time probably. I am an emotional person though so I'm not surprised. I cry when I hear a sappy song or think about our wedding day

I thought I'd be a hot mess. I couldn't' listen to any of the songs leading up to the wedding without crying hysterically. I think I got it all out of my system. The day came and i was calm and everything was perfect. Hopefully the same happens to you!

I cried when my dad saw me in my dress for the first time (he was crying too). I managed to keep it together during the vows somehow.

I feel like I'm going to need my MUA to stay the whole day & fix me every time I cry. Which will be a lot.

I didn't cry. I teared up. But when I did I closed my eyes and whispered to my husband. He heard my voice and cracked a joke to pop the bubble so to speak and I was fine.

I cry every time I replay the proposal in my head, so I'm definitely gonna be an ugly crier. Especially if my fiance starts crying.

Oh man, I knew I would tear up, but I was really struggling not to ugly cry. I was having a really hard time getting through my vows because I was trying not to cry. DH is a huge Steelers fan, and he whipped out a Terrible Towel for me to wipe my tears. It was hysterical and helped me calm myself down.

My stepdad caught it all on video (our photogs missed it - you see her walking in front of the camera - good thing our wedding wasn't unplugged).

Anyhow- here is the short video if you want to watch it:

I'm to the point that I'm getting emotional just THINKING about stuff so I'm embracing it and hoping I can get all cried out/desensitized to it. otherwise I'm gonna be a wreck on the day of.

I cry while watching certain TV commercials! I hope I won't be a hot mess the day of. I'm sure FH will try to keep me laughing though!

Same here!! I am fairly sentimental and emotional anyway, but, with all of the planning and dreaming and thinking about marrying my best friend, I am

definitely going to need a special pocket sewn into my wedding dress for a hankie!!! :-D
