HELP with a venue that allowed your own food

I'm looking for the same thing, (although I might settle on a family member's lakeside, backyard location), and most of the places like barns, farms, theaters, opera houses, etc have been the ones where you can bring your own food and booze - which saves a whole lot of money! Try typing in "unique wedding venues" and your city into google, that helped me a lot!

You will probably have to think outside the box. We were looking for a place that let us bring our own food and some of the places we found: community centers, parks, township halls/city halls, VFW halls, union halls, etc. We are having our reception at an American Legion Hall, so I would suggest checking places like that (Lions clubs, Eagles halls etc)
