Nikki, on October 1, 2012 at 7:24 PM Posted in Planning 1 9

Hello! Congrats to all the love birds out there,

Two years engaged with Military fiancé just finishing his college hell be out of service in jan.. I've been done and working for a couple years hopeful for a wedding end of next year we are flexible with dates Smiley smile

We need advice on any South Fl locations for 80-90 guest ( we live in south fl and family/friends are here)

We'd like outdoor ceremony and indoor reception Smiley smile

Any ideas for packages for $10,000 and under including venue, ceremony, decorations ?

Thank you for your time!

My MOH just got married inside at the Fishing hall of fame in dania. They have a NEAT setup for the reception and it was awesome. She did her wedding for 10,000 for 125 guests.

There are so many things you could do... Keep in mind at a park you can only have beer and wine.

The old school house in Davie does weddings and so does the Tower Club in Fort Lauderdale.

I am in South Florida too!! Smiley smile

The new library in Boca (on Spanish River) was one of the less expensive places I considered.

The Keys seem to be significantly less expensive than Miami venues...and there are some beautiful locations.

Before their renovations, the Rusty Pelican would have worked; but maybe they'll be willing to work with you?

Welcome to the WeddingWire Community @Nikki! Smiley smile

Have you checked various wedding sites/directories to get a better idea of what you need?

I definitely suggest that you start by getting 'recommended' vendors here on WeddingWire! Based on your answers to a few questions (budget, number of guests, location, etc.), the system will automatically populate a list of possibilities that will fit your needs.

    To start:

-Go to 'My Wedding' and click 'My Vendors'

    -Click the 'Recommended Vendors' tab

This should help you get a better idea of where to look and what to look for! You can also search directly from our homepage at www.weddingwire.com for 'Venue' vendors in your area.

OMG! So glad I stumbled upon this! I also am trying to plan a wedding in the same region, and the same budget! I'm working with an incredible planner to find just the right place. we have roughly $6,500.00 allocated to the venue, which would need to include the catering, bar services, and other basics. Any suggestions? The date is 12/13/2014!

Biggest advice- cut the crap! Don't do centerpieces, ditch the grooms cake, lose the bridal party, and don't do a traditional reception! We took our guests out to a nice dinner after the wedding (just had a large reservation) and they ordered whatever they wanted! We didn't have a DJ or anything but we went out after and it was awesome!

Hi ladies! There are many different options to choose from! Are you looking for a beach location, garden or park, country club?
