Has anyone ever been to Dave & Buster's?

Heather, on May 11, 2011 at 2:36 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 25

I'm wanting to have my bachorlette party there. I know it seems weird but I'm not into the bar scene. I've never even been in a bar! Plus one of my BMs is my neice who's 15 & I wanna go somewhere she can go. I think it'll be fun.

We did our RD at D&B. Long story short? Fantastic choice for a bachlorette party. Terrible terrible idea for a rehearsal dinner.

I think thats a great idea, and for those who do want to drink they do have a bar there as well. Tons of stuff to do and have a great time. Also, when it gets later, if you and the other ladies decide to continue the night, the young girl won't feel left out since I'm sure she has a curfew. Great choice!

Go for it! We're probably doing my shower there too so that there is no mess at anyone's house and no one has to worry about cooking. Its great for all ages and someone else gets paid to clean up when the party is over. Smiley winking

Totally is fun to do!! It is really great place to go no matter what age. I was going to do that, but since my sister just turned 21, we are hitting the casino instead. Their drinks are awesome too.

D&B during the day will work for a 15 year old, but if I remember correctly at like 9pm on Saturday night's it turns into 21 and up. Just double check the rules before you decide on a time. It's super fun for a party though. They have very reasonable rates for parties so I recommend talking to the catering department. Or if your group is smaller you could probably get the eat & play passes which include dinner & a few games.

D&B is always a good time! It is nice of you to think of your niece. Just double check the rules. I think anyone under the age of 21 has to be out at 9 or 10.

You can double check here for the one closest to you. http://www.daveandbusters.com/Misc/HousePolicies.aspx

@Mrs. Carmen- for my first wedding, we had our rehearsal dinner there b/c that's where we had our first date. Looking back, yes- great place for a fun get-together or bachelorette party, but not for a rehearsal dinner IMO.

Why is it terrible for a RD? Considering it as an option for our RD, so I would love to know more!
