Hey everyone!

I've been a wife for 11 days and it's just as exciting as being a bride to be.

Received a surprise from my venue today.Four CD's with all of our wedding music.Including the prelude, ceremony, with the vows we wrote to each other and the reception. It's a great reminder of a great day! I also received a few more non- pro pics from guests, that I'll share with you.
Tell me something that happened today that made you happy? Did you find your dress? Pick a date? Check something off of your to do list? Was your fiancee extra sweet?
No matter the circumstances, we all have something to be thankful for and find joy in. We are all either wives or brides to be and we can always celebrate that fact, even if it seems that things are upside down right now.
There is always hope, and I have faith that we will all come out of this stronger than before. Don't get discouraged if your day was postponed, you will have your day!

    Considering today just started LOL I’m relieved that we may have a solution to our venue dilemma. We can keep our current reception venue by not inviting children and +1’s for single guests, or we can change different event space and include those options. Yesterday was tough because we were stressed in making that decision as well as health concerns regarding FMIL.

    As far as this week, I am very happy that my wedding dress arrived (earlier than expected and more gorgeous than I could have imagined!), and we got our engagement photos taken with a sneak peak from our photographer. 😊❤️

    Also I LOVE your photos! You have a great spirit and it shines through your soul.

    I will tell you a lot of the singles I invited came alone, even when I gave a plus one and the only children we invited were in the wedding party. My singles hung out together, so it was a win-win ha ha.
    Oh yay! Your dress arrived that's huge! Engagement photos are so exciting too! I hope you will share them! I'd love to see them!

    A good workout is huge! And necessary in my opinion. It's good for stress relief and helps me sleep better.

    I’m leaning towards the sideswept. Thanks for looking at the pics too! I love that our photographer was able to truly capture us! I felt so nervous and you can’t even tell.

    We had to send our STD’s already so no we won’t be using them for that, but I thought after the wedding we would do an album with both engagement pictures and wedding pictures, and also to give to our parents. FMIL was so happy to see the Engagement photos so at least that brightened her week Smiley heart

    What a sweet surprise from your venue!! 🥰 Those vendors who go above and beyond like that can really bring tears to your eyes! My photographer surprised us with a Christmas ornament with our favorite wedding picture for our first official married holiday together and I legit cried!

    I love seeing more pics from your wedding! That picture of you and your bridesmaid is so perfect. ❤️ Personally for me, seeing photos of Sassy in her floral regalia always makes my day!

    I found a short video of Sassparilla and I riding in, with my wedding music playing. It was posted on my venue's webpage. I cried when I saw it, because the music brought me back to that exact moment. I had no idea, anyone was filming. I was thrilled to see Sassparilla, she's just so danity. Unfortunately, I'm technically challenged and didn't know how to share it! Ha haIt was another great surprise from the venue. They captured a memory for me.
    Yes, I'm partial, but I could just look at Sassy all day...especially when she was all fancied up🐴❤ she was such a good sport, at the wedding. She's a great horse.

    I love seeing the photos of your beautiful wedding. It looks like you had an amazing day. While there have been some recent bumps in wedding planning, this thread is about celebrating the positive. Something small but sweet my fiancé told me this week - I mentioned I was concerned about my first dress fitting tomorrow because we have been trying to work out at home and I have been doing OK making progress. I told him I didn’t want to stop working out yet, so isn’t it bad if my weight fluctuates between fittings? We would have to do more fittings which costs more. He told me without hesitation “Don’t worry about it. We’ll pay the any extra costs for taking it in or letting it out. I’d rather you be happy and healthy.” 💕
