Gift for my fiance on our big day?...

This is what I am thinking to get my fh. I will put a pic of FH, our daughter and me in it.

We had agreed on no gifts so I kept the mind-set that he was getting me as his wife as a gift

However, he did not keep up his end of the bargain. I guess he had stressed that he would not BUY me a gift so instead he put together a scrapbook of our relationship up until our wedding day. There was a letter in the beginning of it that I refused to read before the ceremony because I'm a very emotional person.

Wow, those are both great ideas!! I was really considering a scrapbook, and the letter is a good idea too!!

I have the same problem I have no Idea what to get him ... I want it to be something meaningful ... and I love the scrapbook idea but that is more a gift I would like ... I think if I gave one to him he would look at it once or twice it will end up in a drawer and wont be something that is around all the time, lets face it ladies these are men, MOST straight men (not all) dont really appreciate scarpbooking and that kind of thing lol at least all the ones I know, beer ... sports .... tv .... computers ... video games that they know and appreciate lol

Mine was easy, he is really into history and collecting coins so he got really excited when he saw the the new Justice coin collection so I ordered it for him We said we wouldnt get gifts for each other but it wasnt expensive and I know he will love it!

We decided not to do gifts - we figured that we are each other's gifts! But, the main reason behind that decision was that we decided to save the money and use it for the honeymoon. #ihatebudgets.

A watch - so that he can keep us on time til the end of time (I'm habitually late)

I did a Boudoir photoshoot and im going to put them in a photo album and also write a letter

I bought him a Rolex and the card said "Hope this helps you get to the church on time", the photos are priceless. He's wanted one for ages and the week after I bought it, he said "so, we are spending alot of money on the wedding...no gifts right?" I sheepishly said yeah, no gifts and then surprised him. He felt really bad for a few days, but has gotten over it!

I gave DH a gold money clip -- something he sees & uses every day.

I gave DH a shotgun. I gave it to him a week early so he could use it duck hunting.

I also got him two T-shirts that I gave him that morning. One said "I don't need an Encyclopedia, MY WIFE knows it all." The other said "I do what the voices in my wife's head tell me to."

I got my FH cufflinks, a tie clip, an engraved box all transformer themed

FH and I are both history buffs, and he is also a man of deep faith. I have wanted to give him an archaelogical study bible with a leather cover with his name or initials embossed on the front. I know he would love it, and I wanted to give it to him for his birthday or Christmas, but I think it would be a lovely wedding gift.

I got him a pocket watch with his intials on the cover and our wedding date engraved on the back. When he opened up the watch their was a picture of us in it. Generic but something he will use.

He got me a beautiful tennis bracelet and I wore it for the wedding.

I like your scrapbook idea. Its personal and I am sure he will love it

I just started on a scrapbook for us as well but I think I am going to get him some Diamond earrings ...

My FH has his father's military sword that right now just leans against the wall next to the bed. He has mentioned getting it mounted so unless he does that between now and our wedding, I am going to get it mounted and present it as my gift to him.

My husband gave me a sketch of my wedding dress for my anniversary, but my brother loved it so much he gave it to his wife on their wedding day. His maid of honor took care of sending in photos, wrapping it, etc. We used www.MyDreamlines.com
