Getting Married in August? Anyone else feel like they need more time?

Yes! I am getting married about a month after you, and time seems to have gone in over-drive!!

We probably do have plenty of time, though-- just FEELS like we don't!

Need more time to work my ass off hahahaha

I really just want the day to be here. I only have a few things left to do. Meet with the DJ is the biggie on my list right now, weather has been preventing that. My photographer is flaky but I like her. I only need tuxes but I know what style and colors, need BM dresses but that is it.

Right now I feel like I have a lot of time. But when I see how much everyone else has done, I start getting nervous. I have most all of my big stuff done; just need to obsess over all of the little details.

Guys, it goes by fast... just sayin!

I am worried about the little things. I am going through the dress stage right now. my FH wardrobe almost complete, Maids have their orders and are supposed to be ordering their dresses asap, I have make up on order and I meet with my wedding planner next month. I feel like i am always missing something and I am having issues with finding my I DO dress. Also bought my first swim suit have 2 more to go. i am like you I keep being told that I have time but in my mind i feel like i am running out of time. I want to book flights now but FH is like wait we have time

I feel ya, I have less than 4 months now and I'm getting anxious. All I can say is follow checklists!

Oooo wedding weekend twins and a date twin!!! We still have a ton to do...but more so paying and then smaller things like favors, wedding bags for the out of town guests and figuring out what gifts we are going to give our wedding party and parents...You are not alone though, I feel like there is still a lot to do. Time will be here before we know it!

I'm doing well, but I'm keeping things very simple.

I am glad I'm not the only one. I have most everything done, (all the big stuff) but fretting about centre pieces as my "vision" is going to cost too much and I am doing these things myself. So back to the drawing board. I think I am trying to make sure everything is done so that I don't have to delegate too much to my bridesmaids. I just feel my head spinning when I look at the calendar. What gets done gets done....I have to remind myself it isn't about centre pieces..it's about the marriage, everything else is gravy.

I think I'm on track so I'm not freaking out...yet.

Hey Date Twin!!

I'm getting nervous too; not much "down time" now. I'm making the invitations and other paper products myself (cut the paper, draw the design, add the layers, etc). I'm in the middle of paper-cutting, and need to find a printer.

MOH, and mom's dresses are in the cross-hairs

DJ and Cupcakes are to be booked within the next week or so.

Don't forget!! There's a whole month's worth of To-Do's in August, but we don't have August to do them! So, just assume you're always a month behind like me! LOL No pressure :-/

Oooohhh I am soooo glad I am not the only one feeling like it's closing in!!! I know...lots of time but for this DIY bride i'm terrified to have the attitude of lots of time. The checklist seems a little off before it would allow me to check something off now there is no check box...it says I need to create my website but I have!

Eeek Rubicoke! I do feel that way. I have designed the invites but then panicked today because I realized I have to make pockets for the inserts. Then thinking about envelopes and where to get nice ones....anyone have any thoughts? I am in Canada so maybe Michaels?

Don't worry girl- everything will get done and your wedding will be beautiful! I deff know the feeling though, 5 months is a long time, but not in the wedding world! Just follow your weddingwire checklist. I always look at it and it makes me feel better!
