If I had to choose it would be a Sunday.

Friday! Sunday people are cognizant of work the next day. Friday's people are just getting the weekend started ai they are generally more high spirited.

My wedding's on Friday. It will start in the evening so ppl have time to get there after work and end late because the next day will be Saturday. Everytime I've gone to a Sunday wedding, I want to leave early because of work the next day.

I'm getting married in a Sunday, just know that guest may not stay out as late due to having to work the next day.

Working people prefer Sunday. Friday wedding means you take the day off or have to leave early and rush around. Just have an earlier end time so people can get to work the next day.

Mines on a Friday. I know it's not a super popular choice but it helped us to afford to have the big wedding we wanted. If they want to be there, they will be!!

My wedding is on a Sunday. Most of our family will be taking Monday off.

My wedding is on a Friday night (starts at 7). I rather Friday because it's the beginning of the weekend instead of the end. Don't have to worry about being hungover or anything going into work on Monday.

    Friday- big party

    Sunday- relaxed low key brunch

    Depends on what you want!

Sunday night you can always arrange the timeline a little later. I hate having to leave work on a Friday, to rush, and be ready for any event.

We are having a Friday wedding & know some will not show up for the ceremony as they will not be able to/want to take off of work. We are doing a 1st look to push the ceremony later in the day.

Went to my 1st Sunday wedding this past year & still had to take off Monday as the wedding didn't start until 5pm & all of our family lives 2 hours away. Totally worth taking the day off to attend their wedding though : ) But realize that it may be easier on guest if a Sunday wedding were held earlier in the day. If a guest truly wants to attend your wedding...they will.

As I guest I'd prefer going to a Friday wedding.. most people can arrange to leave work an hour or two early as well if need be!! Your invites would give them at least 2 months notice to plan. A Sunday wedding, I'd just want to leave early because of work on Monday.

If guests will need to ask off of work/plan a vacation day, I would recommend Save The Dates (just be super sure of the # of guest you will want beforehand - can't back out if someone receives a STDcard).

We're getting married on a Sunday. Our venue is giving us a 15% discount, and my MUA is also providing a discount. While some people need to work the next day, a lot of our guests are looking forward to it as an excuse for a long weekend.

I'd rather go to a Friday night wedding than a Sunday evening one. People who are in town might nip out from work a couple hours early for a Friday event, though they aren't going to come in a couple hours late, hungover on a Monday.

If you're going the Sunday route, I'd do a brunch affair.

Another vote for a Friday over a Sunday.

Mine is Sunday. I got a fantastic deal on vendors , I will have Friday and Saturday for final touches. 60% of the guests are coming from out of state. They can all leave on Monday.
