I'm having mine on a Friday! Then you have the whole weekend to party or recuperate!

I'm getting married on a friday

My friend's wedding was a Friday. It was hard to get the day off for me. So I was happy the wedding was in the evening. It worked out well and I got to have the entire weekend off! So it was nice!

I'd choose Friday over Sunday if those were the only options. 98% of our guests are coming from way OOT so having it on a Saturday was non-negotiable with FH (I wanted Friday for the discounts, he was surprisingly SUPER opinionated about it lol)

I'd probably prefer a Friday. Still have the rest of the weekend to chill. In either case I never mind extending my weekend to attend a wedding, but still would be more of a party vibe on a Friday night.

I wld have done Friday if my venue was cheaper on tht day but not cheaper so stuck to sat

We debated on doing a Friday wedding when one of the wedding venues we looked at offered a discount for Friday, but the venue we fell in love with didn't, so we stuck with Saturday.

When we were considering it, we planned on starting it later in the evening and expecting a lot of declines. We also thought about foregoing the rehearsal so hopefully people wouldn't need to take any more time off work.

Sunday!

We're doing Friday. I work and I hate doing anything on Sundays, simply because Sunday is my "get ready for Monday" day. If you do Sunday, I'd go early afternoon.

I'm doing Sunday because it was cheaper & I didn't want to deal with Friday night traffic in my area. I think it all depends on your ratio of OOT guests & iT guests. But in the end it's what you want!

Friday for us!

Sunday afternoon, instead of a Friday night. We had to take-off work, for at least half a day, for he few weddings we've attended, on a Friday night. After a full week of work, I just want to crash, on a Friday night.

My wedding is on a Friday evening at 6pm. It saved us $6K! Plus most people have Saturday off so they can rage and have fun. Sundays are rough because people can't really let loose and have fun due to having to work Monday's.

Im getting married on a Sunday of a holiday weekend because many people will have that Next day off. On fridays, Im afraid that the traffic will delay both my guests amd vendors

Ours is on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. Worked out well for us as most people are off that Monday for the holiday. It's Labor Day weekend and we also got engaged that weekend as well.
