My ceremony starts at 6:30. Venue and reception are in the same place luckily. Guests can come around 5:30 for cocktail hour. My wedding is in November though, so we will have less sin by then.

5:30 ceremony...but it’s all at the same venue so even if we spend more time with pictures our guests will be getting fed and drinking lol

Hello. My ceremony starts at 530pm. We are also having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the same location. We are not doing a reveal. In order to save time so we can enjoy a few minutes of cocktail hour, we are doing a few selected pictures before the ceremony. Being that we are not doing a reveal we will be taking separate photos with our bridal party and family (Mother, Father, Siblings). This eliminates a lot of picture time after the ceremony and we can focus more on our pictures. I suggest you do the same. But good rule of thumb is to speak to your photographer on must have pics so those are taken first. Also speak to them on timing and they can better advise you.

Our ceremony and reception is at the same
place. A good thing to remember is light! For photos. We were told that we should have light until 6. We decided 4pm then take romantics right after while people do cocktail hour. Then start at 6pm
    for reception.

Ours is also on a Friday, starting at 6pm. It's at a golf course, and the pictures after the ceremony will be somewhere on the grounds that's about a 5 minute drive from the spot, so like someone else said I don't think popping out for your pics & then back in will be a big deal.

    Congratulations!

My wedding is set to start at 11:00 am. We know that’s a inconvenient time. But this time works for us. My fiancé family won’t be able to attend our wedding. Because they live overseas. But his best friend will be his Best man. And my Beat Friend is my maid of honor. And some of my family and friends will be there to support us. We want to keep our wedding small.

Our ceremony will start at 4:30 and the whole event will run until 10. Our venue had set times so we couldn’t really be flexible.

Our Ceremony and Reception are all in the same place. We are getting married in October so it gets dark earlier and due to that reason the ceremony is at 4. We have some guests who wont be able to make it for the ceremony but will be joining us afterwords for the fun and festivities at the reception.

Our venue is 2 and a half hours away from home so most people will have to take the day off so we’re beginning the ceremony at 4:30pm. Which works out with the sunset for photos right before the reception begins. Both ceremony and reception are at the same venue.

We have an odd gap between our ceremony and reception due to venue schedules. The ceremony is at 2pm and the reception at 5pm.

My wedding is starting at 4pm, it's during the hollidays while everyone isn't working. The reception is set to start at 5 at a different location.

I’m getting married on a Friday, our ceremony is at 6:30, with cocktails beginning at 7. This will allow us to take pictures without our guest feeling like they’re waiting. Also traffic can be a nightmare, thus the half pass time to allow for hiccups

Our wedding is on a Friday at 530pm. Everything will be in the same place. The reception will take place from 6-10! Then it’s the after party. I know some friends and family won’t be able to make it but we’re okay with that. The important people will be there! ♥️
