So I’ve need trying for months to find a set I love. And it finally happened! Only thing is the set I wanted only came in sterling so I need advice on upkeep. I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days so I knew I had found the right one. Planning on having it re dipped in white gold for our five year anniversary. But til then...advice on upkeep?

Oh wow that's fabulous!!! Silver-dip it. Same stuff you'd use for cutlery. My mum uses Goddard's for her rings (and mine, when I'm visiting) and they've stayed sparkly for 25 years. No damage to her diamonds or sapphires either! Tie a thread around the rings, or hook them onto an earring or something, so they're easy to get out of the jar, and only dip them for 15 seconds or so at a time, until they're bright again. (Assuming this is what you mean by upkeep).

That said, if the jeweller recommended something different definitely go with that!

Since silver can tarnish, I've always used toothpaste and a soft toothbrush on my jewelry when it's needed cleaning.
