Fiancé, how did you meet?

Mine is pretty boring. We met in grad school. What was unique (for me) is that we were friends for quite awhile before dating. I think it formed a great foundation for our relationship.

Yes! We were friends for about 6 months before we took it to the next level

My FH was coworker/friend of my sisters. She gave me his number... We then began to play "draw something" (a popular game back in ****) I had my pic as my profile picture and he started sending me cute messages about how beautiful I was. So we started talking/texting everyday for one year (keep in mind we had never met. He lived 8 hours from me) Finally a year later we met (in 2013) moved in after 4 months of meeting (he moved to Houston with me) & been together ever since.

He literally walked onto my plane and then told me he followed me on Instagram. He's a pilot and I'm a Flight Attendant so it wasn't as creepy as it sounds lol. That was back in May 2015 and we started officially dating in September of 2015, got engaged in December of 2018 with our wedding in June 2020.

We met online, on eHarmony. But really, I’m commenting to say that I love Bob Evans! It’s one of the things I miss most about Ohio and have to go every time I go back home. (Although they changed the menu within the last year or 2 and it’s not nearly as good now.)

I am an RN and worked in the ER.

He was a paramedic and was always bringing patients in to me and giving me report, but never said anything not work related.

One night my best friend (&currently my MOH) harrassed me to come out and have some drinks with her and another friend of ours (who's my hair and makeup stylist). I begrudgingly went. I guess he was out with friends too and had a few drinks which finally gave him the courage to ask me out. Lol Now 3 years later here we are!

Before i started working at walgreens i had a crush on him lol he told me to put in an app on like my 4th day working there i we went to a haunted forest. We worked and dated together for 3 years lol he proposed on our 3 year anniversary

FH and I met in the 7th grade. We were friends for a couple of years, then in our freshman year of high school, he asked me out. We dated for a few months, but sadly, our parents pretty much broke us up. My mom thought I was too young to be getting so serious about a boy, and his dad thought he should focus on his baseball career, and forget about girls. I was heartbroken, as he was my first "love" and real boyfriend in high school. But we went on with our lives.

Many years later, (and many relationships/breakups/kids later) we became Facebook friends. I was so curious about what he'd been doing with his life, I started messaging him. After a month or so of phone calls and texts, we decided to hook up in person. That really was all it took. The chemistry was still there, and the affection. Then I fell in love with him all over again!

That was two and a half years ago, and today we are exactly 365 days away from our wedding!!

I was on the dance team at my college and one of the newer girls asked us who wanted to go out that weekend to the Cotton Eyed Joe. Because I love to dance, of course I agreed! She said she was bringing a friend and I assumed it was a girl. When we got there, it was actually her boyfriend's best friend. She told him not to get any ideas (I guess not to flirt or anything with me). I also was not into dating at the time due to a break up and trying to be happy being single. My first thought was this guy is really cool and funny, but we are just going to be friends, nothing more. Well, fast forward after a few weeks of hanging out weekly and we were both head over heels. Haha. After a few months, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Then he proposed 3 years and 1.5 months later. It's funny because had we known each other in high school (which never would have happened, he lived in CA while I lived in TN), we know we wouldn't be together now. It's funny how things work out!

My FMIL moved from BC to my small hometown in Canada because she's a teacher. I got to know her and I liked her. Then my FH and the rest of their family moved to my hometown. I wanted to get to know him so we were friends all throughout HS. I asked him out after a few months of us meeting and nothing really happened. Then, in December 2016, in our senior year he asked me out and I said yes

We met at church and became the best of friends

We first met at a bar in 2013, he tried buying me a shot of fireball and kept trying to talk to me but I told him I was allergic to cinnamon so I wasn’t interested and I had a boyfriend at the time. Fast forward two years later I was in the process of breaking up the same boyfriend. My friends were dating his friends, we all went out to dinner and the two of us immediately hit it off. We started officially dating at the end of summer 2015 and here we are now!

We met in a bar (NOT the place anyone would have expected us to meet) in August 2017. He was there for his friend's bachelor party and I was there for my sister's bachelorette party. His group of guys approached our table to buy the bride a shot. Us girls were doing a picture scavenger hunt and I needed a picture of my sister with a guy that has the same name as her now husband. I asked the guys and conveniently my now FH has the same name! I crawled under the table and demanded to see his driver's license as proof. As I was about to take their picture, I told him he was cute and we talked for the rest of the night. We didn't exchange numbers because we were dumb and us girls were from 3.5 hours away. But the next day I searched all over facebook for him and messaged him (he had been looking for me too but I have an incredibly basic first and last name with a TON of potential hits on Facebook) and we haven't stopped talking since. We were long distance for a year but I moved to his city 9 months ago!

FH & I met on Bumble back in March 2018! I was very anti dating apps, but my old roommate convinced me to get on. 5 days later, FH and I matched! FH moved to our town a few months prior, and he works a weird work shift (4am-12:30pm) so it was hard for him to meet a lot of people. I remember thinking that his pictures were so cute, and his profile said he was an Alabama football and Atlanta Braves baseball fan. I, also, love both of these teams, so I started the conversation with "Roll Tide! ". FH LOVED that, and we immediately hit it off! Can't wait to marry my best friend in 9 months!

We met at our senior prom in high school. I tried to get him to dance with a friend but he had no interest in her and we all just danced as a group. He turned into my crush from a distance after prom because I was too shy to admit I liked him. We ended up becoming friends a week before I left for college, turned into best friends after months of “talking” while away at college, then five years later here we are.

We met at bar. She talked my ear off and at the end of the night gave me her phone number. She said she wouldn't be offended if I didn't call. A week later she ran into a friend of mine and asked "why didn't she call me?!"
We saw each other two weeks later and set up a date. Couple hours before the date she called and left a message she wanted to meet even earlier so we could get drinks before the movie. I called her back and got voice mail which didn't sound like her voice but left her a message anyway saying I could not meet early.
When I did show up I walked into her bad mouthing me to her friend because she thought I stood her up. I explained the situation, told her about the weird voicemail, and showed her the phone number SHE WROTE DOWN. She wrote HER OWN NUMBER WRONG. What makes it even funnier is the fact that the last four digits of the number is her birthday, 02-14. Valentine's day. We've been together since 2006.

We met at church. i was fairly new there and he happened to sit next to me during church lunch and we immediately hit it off. what's nice is that we get to get married in the same church we met at.
