Etsy Invitations ??

Are you ordering your invitations and having them sent to you?

I ordered a design with my information from Etsy. I thought it turned out great! Unfortunatly the printing company said the quality wasn't high enough to print on a high powered printer (she failed to mention whether it was for professtional printing or home printing).

Read the reviews and ask the seller as many questions as you can think of!!

I wouldn't have any reservations about ordering from a seller on etsy - read the reviews, but I've never had a bad experience.

I got mine from Etsy and they were fabulous.

I ordered mine as a template from Etsy, seller made all the changes (color, font, location, names) to everything I asked for and they turned out amazing!! Chevron print on the back and a poster theme on the front. I think it cost $35 and I had them printed on vistaprint. They don't have the best quality of paper, I assumed it would be a thicker stock. However, I only ended up spending about $125 for 200 invites where ordering from an invite company I was looking at over $500!

I ordered mine as a template as well from Etsy (it was $25 and she custom made it colors/wording/etc) and then I can print them wherever (I told her I was using Vistaprint, so she made them speciafiacally to work with Vistaprint)

I ordered my invites from Etsy, I had her send me a sample first before ordering the whole bunch of them. They are beautiful and high quality. I have also ordered several other things for the wedding from Etsy and have always had an amazing experience. Also I am a seller on Etsy and it is a legitamate website.

I ordered shower invitations from them one time.. it depends on the seller.. just check their ratings and go from there I've always had great experiences!

I have ordered three different invitations/designs from Etsy & then printed them either at the local printers or through VP. They turned out great!

Can you ask her to mail you a sample so you can see the quality of their work? A lot of vendors do not mind doing that.

Yall are making me feel so much better. I've always liked etsy I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't have problems with my invitations. I was planning on ordering them and having them sent to me. I definitely will check to see if she will send me a sample first just to make sure. Thanks for your help!

I ordered my invitations from Etsy and while I LOVED them, I did have to start really early since it was a custom order.

Most of the sellers on Etsy are top notch, but like any site, be sure to look at the feedback from that seller. Be clear that if there is a habitual problem (my seller dropped off the grid with many customers) it will be your problem too. So believe the feedback/reviews!

I ordered my invitations from etsy. Got lots of compliments on them. I got a sample before hand and was able to see the quality. My only complaint was some of the pocket folds were damaged in the shipping but we had ordered plenty of extras.

I had one bad experience with etsy but i dealt with about 5 other sellers and the experience was awesome!!! Just check out their reviews before you purchase anything from a seller.

I LOVE ETSY!!! They have amazing, creative stuff and as long as you read through the reviews and ask questions before your purchase, you should be fine. They have the coolest stuff; I'm getting all my bridal party gifts custom made on there and have several other things I will be purchasing for my wedding from Etsy. It's the best!!

I ordered my invitations from vistaprint because i needed something cheaper than i was able to find on etsy. Mine turned out beautiful
