    We are doing Save the Dates because like a lot of other people a lot of our guests are out of town and we wanted to make sure they get enough notice.

    We don’t plan on sending out save the dates. We have informed all the important ones that have to travel already. And we are planning on sending the invites sooner than later.

    Essential. We have other friends that are engaged as well, I think it’s a curteous way of saying “this day is special for us and we would like you to share in that with us... don’t make any plans”

    Depends on your guest. Our was mostly family and close friends so I simple Facebook event invite did the trick. Then we sent out our invitations around two months before. Turned out great!

    100% essential in our busy world. Especially if you have a lot of out of town folks. Send early ad possible!

    HI Ashley! You said this perfectly! I always appreciate advance notice with STDs because I personally want to be able to make any/all accommodations and arrangements to be able to support & celebrate my friends' marriages. Smiley smile

    I think they’re essential because everyone has lives including obviously your guests and it’s curtious to give them a heads up to leave that time frame open

    I believe essential. I have a lot of guests coming from out of town since I'm from MA and he is from LA. Giving my guests plenty of notice I hope will ensure they have time to prepare and not forget the date.
