Essential or Extra - Getting Ready Pictures?

Yes this will be a part of our wedding video. So instead of pictures will have the video of us getting ready

I think it’s a must..not the planned looking photos but more along the lines of the candid type photo. Like I would love a photo with my mom and me, a photo of my sister and me, and my maid of honor with me.

Need to go away! In 10 years I'm not going to want to look at pics of some random person doing my hair. The group ones always look so fake and staged.

I feel like getting ready pics are photographers way to charge more money.

I opted for those photos because I wanted the sentimental pictures between both our parents and ourselves. FH’s grandma will be there too, and I really want to include her in as many photos as possible with both of us. So having her and a second photographer for plenty of time prior to the ceremony will be helpful I think. I also am not having a HMUA but I think it would be fun to do a few group shots and individual shots with everyone once we are all dressed, maybe having a drink and dancing to some music before taking first look photos. I haven’t asked yet, but I hope to have some photos of the venue property since we are all staying there for the weekend.

Eh. I don't care that much about them. I need to talk to my photographer to see if there is time for these, if not, oh well.

Essential! I definitely want my photographer and videographer to capture those moments

Extra but since we have 8 hours covered there will be some. I am just not a huge fan of these types of pics.

I think getting ready pictures are essential.

Totally a must have. Some of the best moments of my day were getting ready. It took me five hours and I would have been super bummed if I hadn't captured it.

Getting ready

Essential for me. I don't need a whole lot but a few would be nice of the preparations and anticipation.

Im skipping the getting ready picts. Ive never really understood the point....

I we aren't planning on doing getting ready pictures, but that's mainly because the extra time for a photographer isn't in our budget

Essential. Why not capture the best moments of a beautiful day that you will put so much time and effort into.
