I feel exactly the same way. I'd like to see a few pics with FH getting ready with my sons and me getting ready with my future step daughters. Other than that I won't be posing on beds wearing matching outfits and stuff. I'm just not into it.
I always thought they were essential, especially how much they are advertised. I think they are beautiful, but because my FH and I aren't have a traditional wedding, I didn't know if I should take them or not. I like knowing not everyone wants them. It makes me feel better for not having them.
We are doing a very very small amount of these photos with everyone already in their attire. Last minute lipstick touch-ups, tying ties (for the guys), etc. What I mainly want to capture are the opening of gifts (my fiance and parents). Definitely an extra
Essential. It ia not everyday that I get all dressed up and have my makeup and hair done. These moments are precious and will bring back all of the happy memories of getting ready when I look at them in years to come.
