Extra, and I typically find a waste of money. I always see so many left after people started leaving. No one usually wants them. I almost never take mine.

Definitely extra. Not worth the extra cash for people to just leave them on the table when they go home.

Extra! Definitely not doing them. Most get left or if they are taken they are left in a drawer and forgotten.

Essential. It is easy to do a simple favor for less than a dollar a person and any wedding that hasn't had a favor definetly got major side eye from a lot of people in attendance.

Extra, I don't understand them or why they are given.

Extra. I wasn’t going to do any at all, but ended up getting some personalized playing cards (Vegas wedding) and personalized custom lollipops. I didn’t want to deal with hauling a bunch of stuff around, and didn’t want my guests to have to haul stuff home!

I think they are sorta pointless. For us, we are doing welcome bags with little hangover kits in them as well. Nobody ever takes the silly favors at weddings I have been too

Extra. Most are thrown away. Some are smart, such as edible favors. My FSIL's favors at her wedding was a personalized matchbook for each guest who could use the marches to light the sparklers for their exit. I thought that was practical.

If we don't have a photo booth it would probably be something edible but if it's not in the budget I'll pass on them.

Our favors are actually gonna be how people find their table.

I think it depends on the favor you’re planning to put together.

Essential! A nice thank-you to guest. If you make it meaningful it is worth it Smiley smile Something people can use. We are doing VT maple syrup!

Ooooh, I like that idea! That is a cool way to combine the favor and something that the guest doesn't have to haul home with them!

I think they are extra. My dad really wants to have them so I'm letting him decide on these, I don't care that much lol.

Extra! I have never been to a wedding where I've kept the favors. I think they are nice but a waste of money.

Extra, unless edible option. We are still indecisive about this. If we do decide, will definitely be edible. I went to a wedding where they gave key chains with photos of the couple, cute but definitely did not use. A bit much.
