Engraving your Rings: what did you/are you writing on them?

FH and I picked out our wedding bands last Saturday (Macy's is having a great fine jewelry sale so we got our rings for around 65% off) and we're discussing what we'd like to write to each other on the inside of our rings. My engagement ring has "SNUGGLES!" engraved on the very tiny size 4.5 2.5mm band.... it's a joke between us and I love it.. We might do something sweet and silly for our wedding bands but are also considering something more serious. I have a couple of questions:

1) Are you engraving your rings, what will you write inside if you do?

2) If you have what do they say (serious, sweet, silly, private joke)?

3) Did you surprise each other or decide what to engrave together?

DH took the rings and surprised me with the words, "At Last!" and our date engraved on our rings. It is the song my daughter sung as I walked in.

@Karen I love yours, it's funny and personal at the same time.

@Kimm, I really love the phrase in Gealic... It's beautiful! I didn't even think of doing something in Gealic.... Hmmm lots to think about!

Well if you're both Irish and with his band with the Celtic knot it it would be very appropriate. Both my FH and I are Irish as well and we are doing a Celtic/Pagan ceremony. That's why I wanted to surprise him with this.

Here's another one that I had in mind..... Tusa is tusa amhain (You and only you)

Mine is engraved with "Cupcake N Cookie" because I call him my cupcake and he says I am his cookie. His is engraved on the inside and outside. Inside says "Taryn and Evan" and the outside says "You're My Ever After" which is a lyric from one of his and mines favorite songs by My Darkest Days.
