Do any of you ladies have a plan? Married ladies, how much did you drink? Based on a thread yesterday, several married ladies regret not drinking enough...but I'm wondering, where that is? My tolerance is pretty bad lately (4 drinks and I'm feeling like death the next day) so I'm want to have a...

My tolerance is pretty bad lately (4 drinks and I'm feeling like death the next day) so I'm want to have a plan, but still loosen the nerves. Any thoughts?

I had two mimosas at the salon - 8am-ish. Then I had Arbor Mist on our party bus between the wedding and reception (maybe 2 glasses but also Jimmy Johns - so not on an empty stomach). I had the champagne for the toasts/speeches and then two Cherry Doctor/RedBulls at the reception. I am happy with my consumption that day Smiley smile

I had one or two drinks at cocktail hour and dinner but I got more rambunctious later in the evening.

I didn't post a BAM but a "Back and hungover" instead.

I have a pretty high tolerance so I think I will have a mimosa in the morning and pace myself for the rest of the day. I went to a wedding once where one of the bridesmaids got so wasted, when it was time to clean up she was holding the top tier of the wedding cake and carrying out to the couples car she tripped and it splattered on the floor. Smiley sad I definitely do not want to get wasted.

I didnt drink at all the morning of. After the ceremony i had a little bit of water and went to take pictures. I had a total of 3 beers (8 ordered) because i put my drink down and they were cleaned up =( but it was worth it. i remember everything! we did go out after though to a bar, again i had one drink. My DH and i hadnt talked, or seen eachother since midnight the night before, so we had some business to attend to haha =)

I want to do some drinking at my wedding but I really do not want to get sick or be super hungover the next day. I will probably stick to wine for the night and maybe have a shot or two since my friends will probably want to do some with me and I plan on drinking lots of water to even it all out. But I am worried that I will drink too much and regret it the next day. I don't want to make a fool of myself at my own wedding!

I'm so glad there's a thread about this! This is the IMPORTANT wedding planning stuff.

FH and I like drinking, so I know I'll have a mimosa or two beforehand. I don't want to not remember anything at the reception either, so I'm seriously going to try to keep it in check. I'm mostly worried about the GMs drinking too much before the ceremony. We're getting married in a Catholic church, and a friend's priest told them at their wedding that if he smelled a hint of alcohol on anyone, he wouldn't marry them, which totally freaked me out. We're renting a party bus to take us around town for all of our pictures beforehand, which will only be stocked with light beer and champagne, but still... FH has already talked to them all about it, but basically we decided that if anyone is too drunk, they just don't get to stand at the front of the church with us!

No definite game plan yet, but I plan to partake in some beverages, however, not too many.

I drink pretty regularly- not heavily on the weekend but usually 1 drink per night, sometimes 2. I can drink a lot more wine than I can liquor. I will not be drinking beer bc of the bloat factor lol. I'll probably drink no alcohol leading up to the ceremony, then have wine at cocktail hour and during dinner, then switch to liquor (vodka and sprite, in case of spills!) for dancing and the after party.

Lots of water during the day, especially since it will be hot out. Maybe one mimosa. During the wedding, I will probably stick to cocktails. I tend to lose track of how much I've had when I drink wine - plus, I am a bit clumsy and don't even want to risk spilling red wine on my dress.

I used to have a crazy high tolerance. Note I almost never drink. When I asked my two best friends to be in the wedding they were joking about building up my tolerance(lol more for the bach party though) I am planning on eating in the morning and maybe having a drink. Then nothing until we eat dinner. I def do not want to be wasted but I do want to have a good buzz and a good time.

I'm just gonna have fun and see what happens. This may be a horrible plan.
