Dress size 14 - Street Size 12. Dress pics??

Girl, I'm a size 20!! I'm sure you'll look beautiful. BTW I'm a street size 16 but thanks to my ginormous boobs I had to go bigger and order a 20.

I'm a street size 16. My dress bust size is a 22, waist 18. So I went custom sizing. Don't worry one iota! Sizing is so off with dresses and you are going to have it altered to fit perfectly anyways.

Look for an A line dress, that is most flattering for any body type.

I wouldn't worry about the size. My best friend told me before wedding dress shopping, don't be shocked by the size. She's fairly petite and has a 10-12.

I'm street size 8/10 and had to order a dress size 14 for my damn hips since it was mermaid/fit and flare style (idk the difference in styles) I had go have pretty much the whole dress redone.

I'm a street size 10, but because I had to get a 2nd dress (thanks Alfred Angelo), my 2nd dress off the rack is a 14. Will need some alterations because it's a little stretched out from people trying it on.

I'm really more worried about my street size 12 being too large for my liking. I feel like I weigh 700lbs!! Just worried I'm going to look horrible in any dress I try on. Thank you all for your posts so far!!

Do not fret! I'm typically a 4/6 and my wedding dress is a 12. Not worried though because I do love love my dress. My girl helping me with my dresses warned me and told me not to freak out about the size.

Try not to focus on the size of the wedding dress. I'm a street size 2 (sometimes 4) and got an 8 for my wedding dress. Everyone on this thread looks beautiful in their dresses! You will find one that you love and feel and look beautiful in. Try not to stress if you don't find it on your first dress shopping day, many people have to shop around!

This is my size 14 dress. I love it except my mom tummy is obvious. Ive been dieting and working out and looking for spanx. Hoping to solve this problem before my next fitting.

I know it's fairly normal to be worried about trying on dresses for the first time. But I've gained about 30lbs since my fiancé and I started dating 3 years ago. And I'm pretty sad about it. So it's stressing me out that I'm going to hate everything I try, because I'm unhappy with my body. Please keep the dress pictures coming!!!

Street size 10/12, dress is a size 12, pretty much off the rack.

I teeter between 12 and 14 street.... this is me in dress at a dress size 16 but after alterations and a little weight loss was about 12.
