Does your venue charge per soda/juice?

Kyle, on July 10, 2013 at 1:50 PM Posted in Planning 0 26

It's included in my charge/person and it's unlimited for them.

    How's planning going date twin?

It was supposed to be something like $2 per person (our cost, free for the guests of course), but I got it waived. The $400 savings is a drop in the bucket compared to our total catering bill, but a win is a win.

All non alcoholic beverages are included in the price of the dinner for us but while we were researching venues there were some who did a per person charge.

Edited to clarify. the per person charge was at one rate for food and an add on rate for non alcoholic beverages.

Same as OTW. Included in our per person cost and unlimited. However, our open bar cost is also included in our per person cost we're not paying additional for that.

Our venue is all inclusive (venue, ceremony, food, alcohol, cake), so it's included with the per person cost. But no, they don't charge *per* drink.

The package we pick with our venue comes with unlimited soda, water, tea and punch. I think they add that because they do not care alcohol.

I an all inclusive venue that has a flat rate for 100 guests that includes everything (the meal, sodas, teas and coffee). There is an additional per person charge for for guest over 100. We are supplying the alcohol.

At all of the venues we've looked at, nonalcoholic beverages were included in the plate cost.

Kyle!! Were you on a WW hiatus??

These are included in our per person charge. Are you planning on going with your Aunt's venue?

Hwy Barbara, I've been lurking, but haven't posted much. When the rules got strict about vendors, I saw the time of the oars change a bit :-/

I think we found a new venue. Prices are similar to my aunts place, but better communication. Smiley smile

I haven't seen the contest yet (I rarely read the stickies). I'll check that out. Xoxo

Yes, check it out, because you will totally win!!

Glad you found a new place. Hopefully this one is less community-center-ish (if I'm remembering correctly). Also, it may save everyone's feelings to keep family and business separate. Smiley smile

Mine is a pp rate, plus we have extras added on for cider and lemonade for our heavy mormon crowd.

Mines is per person too for the Soda/juice/coffee/tea & liquor/ber/wine. They are set up in packages per amount of hours (limited 2hrs) but it comes out of the deposit.
