Do you feel guilty spending all this money?

100% yes’m I feel this all the time. However my father’s dream was to give me a dream wedding where his daughter would be marrying the love of her life. Sometimes I feel terrible for picking the elaborate venue. The money we put in for all the extras. However, I remember that I will live only one life and will remember that day forever. I can honestly say I’ll be a person who looks back on every moment from the wedding, pictures, videos, etc even when I am old. Also, I know my dad is so happy to help with it. If anyone was going into debt about it then the guilt would stay. But since it is doable I keep reminding myself to be happy that I get the day that I am dreaming of.

When we decided to go with our venue, we knew it would be adding several tens of thousands of dollars. So we talked it through. Honestly, I think I would regret not having it at our perfect location more than I would spending the money. So, I get sticker shock some times. But I am over the moon for the wedding we are planning.
